Greater than one weekGlyph is using grey market hard drives inside the enclosure. So either they cover the warranty to make you whole since they bought it grey, or you are out of luck. Why buy a product that wont source its components from proper channels?

> 3 dayMeanwhile, every other drive I ever bought works. Avoid these garbage devices and their entire company like the plague. They didnt change their company name from Glyph to G-Tech because they had a good brand reputation, Ill tell you that. Ive lost mulitple drives worth of info from these pieces of crap.

> 3 dayNOT COMPATIBLE WITH WINDOWS 10. The Amazon page says compatible with Windows XP and above. That is NOT accurate. After receiving the hard drive, I found out that I needed to format the BlackBox Plus for Windows. No instructions for Windows 10, not even on their website. It is NOT compatible with Windows 10. I took a chance and plugged it in.The computer never recognized it. Cant format a drive that the computer doesnt even see. I then searched the internet. Other Windows 10 operators had posted the question too. No answers. On the Glyphtech website, I found a users manual for the Black Box (not the PLUS). It was dated December 2013. The BlackBox Plus does not have a users manual, only an info sheet. No instructions on Windows 10 there either. I emailed the company. I got an initial canned response along with a link to frequently asked questions. Well, it is a Saturday. Perhaps Ill hear from them on Monday. That will be too late. Ive already printed the return label and boxed it up. In closing, if the visible quality of this product is this bad I certainly wouldnt spend good money on it. However, I did and now I regret it. Buyer beware.

> 3 daySo far so good. Ive used this drive for around a month now for editing video for school projects. I bought a case for it, but not because it didnt feel like it could handle being thrown around in my bag. Formatting, operation, etc. have presented no problems thus far. slick looking little guy.
