> 24 hourI switched from the Samsung S line of phones to the Pixel 4a 5g about a month ago. The controls took a few hours to get used to, but it overall was easy to adapt to. I keep my phone in a case, so I dont notice any difference with the phone being plastic instead of glass. The phone is powerful enough for everything Ive had to do. It runs apps simultaneously without problems. My biggest issue is that google disabled smartcast on any device other than a Chromecast. Theres no real reason for it other than google trying to force me to buy more google products. It may seem like a small issue, but its enough of a nuisance to stop me from buying another one for other family members.

> 24 hourbought it November 2020 the phone does not worth the 599 dollars i paid that time.i have it for a little less than three years and it is getting warm very easy regardless of my desperate attempts to update it and solve the problem. Finally i thought to change the battery so that i can solve the problem because when i first bought it i did not have an issue of over heating. The people that i took it, said to me that they would not try and put a new battery because the screen is paper thin and it brakes very easily . So i have to buy a new phone because battery plus screen is almost 140 dollars.

> 24 hourEl único detalle es el plástico del cual está hecho, se ralla con mucha facilidad, la funda es indispensable, afortunadamente los case de Google están muy chulos. La cámara de lo mejor, el modo noche es increíble, se hubiera agradecido una pantalla con mayor resolución pero vaya, nada es perfecto.

> 24 hourAt first it was ok for the price. Pictures are amazing once you take them (well get to that). The 5G depends on what carrier you have. For me I have T-Mobile and half the time if it says 5G and full bars, that basically means I have no service and cant connect to the internet. If I have 5G and its half or very little bars, that means I have good service. I know, its stupid and makes no sense. The OS is good overall but as usual, Google is stripping down or dumbing down all their services in some way or another. That means for the Pixels less options and less customization. So if theres a way you can revert back to Android a year ago, then do it. Otherwise its ok but inching closer to the Apple* mentality of heres 1 option, just take it. Now for the camera. Holy hell the delay when you hit the button and it actually taking the picture is absolutely abominable when you first start the camera app. If youre an iphone user, this is your ammunition. You can use this to make fun of Android, full stop. Its hilarious. If youre a photographer and need to capture stuff in the moment, stop reading this and buy something else. Its atrocious. I took a 2 minutes 4k video and it took 15 minutes to rotate the video 90 degrees. Yep. If youre willing to wait sometimes up to 5 seconds to take your picture then this is good haha. Everything else is typical android. Overall, just save your money and get the flagship pixel phones with a processor thats actually worth a damn like the Pixel 4, 4xl, etc. They made sure to put the 5G capability in the mediocre models and it sucks.

> 24 hourJust like every other pixel this is amazing. Its fast and smooth. The camera is perfect for photos and amazing for videos Ive gotten amazing shots with this. The fingerprint reader is much better then the other pixels. And omg the battery life is the best part i use my phone for both of my jobs a lot at and out of the offices and this phone keeps charged. Longest i went was 3 days but that was with lite useage. Hands down you need a phone that can do what you need and more and has a battery to keep up with a long and busy work day this is the phone for sure.

> 24 hourI will keep this review short and sweet. I got this phone mainly because Qi charging was listed as supported. [17] Qi-compatible. Wireless charger sold separately. No. It is not Qi-compatible. If you want to charge it wirelessly, you need to buy a receiver -- not the same as a charger. Even with a receiver you will still need a charging pad. Ive seen all sorts of misleading information about this feature and Pixel phones. Some even saying that wireless charging support came in around Pixel 3. According to Google -- this phone does not support Qi charging. If you want the wireless charging, get the Pixel 5.

> 24 hourI received my 4A 5G with much excitement, with high expectations based on reviews i had seen before. However, there some things that I had to note. Pros: 1. Compared to most of my previous phones, the sound quality was pretty good. I wouldnt think a typical user will be disappointed with the output of the speakers. 2. Screen quality wasnt bad. This isnt a flagship and so comparisons to one wouldnt be fair. 3. The fingerprint scanner was pretty fast and accurate. 4. If charging before bed, the battery would last throughout the workday and evening for me with moderate use. 5. Love the camera. It was a major reason for purchase and it didnt disappoint. Cons: 1. While the phone did facilitate a transfer of settings and data from my old phone, it didnt do so all that well. Photos did not always come across in their original albums, and worse (for some reason) didnt all keep the dates. the result was a jumbled mess that took ages to rectify. It was made worse with the fact that the phone didnt come with USB-A connection. And No, google photos only made it worse, sending tonnes of jumbled images i did not want backed up, to my drive. 2. while the stock android experience is great in that it leaves you free from bloatware, the apps preloaded (which largely can all be deleted) dont always compare to the contemporaries used with lets say Samsung. I had far more control and enjoyment using their photo gallery, integrated readers, and even the phone app. As an example, If a contact had multiple numbers assigned, I couldnt easily determine which had been used most recently without scrolling down however far to find it. Samsung took far fewer steps to show all numbers for the contact and the dates/times connected. The lack of bloatware meant id have to load items to be able to function, so I had to get a new gallery app, and pdf reader. 3. the largest issue i had was that in the setup process, the phone was alarmingly warm. This was far worse than the setups of any of my previous phones, even the so called cheap and slow ones. I also noticed it got warm again (though not as significantly as during setup) at points when multiple applications are running. Those werent big apps either (e.g. scrolling through the notes app while on a call). Edit: Since my original post Ive noticed that during video calls, the phone regularly got hot; alarmingly so. restarting and ensuring multiple applications werent running at the same time didnt seem to help. In one instance I was in an airconditioned car, with sunlight on the phone, though not particularly hot to the point where Id even sweat. The phone within three minutes gave an overheating warning and started to shut down functions. Im still a bit concerned given the fact that my previous lower specd phones did the same tasks without overheating to this degree. How will the phone hold up if Im in the warm outdoors for a protracted period and need to maintain contact for emergencies.

> 24 hourHaving been a satisfied Nexus 5X since November 2015 I saw no reason to upgrade. Nexus battery is finally barely lasting a day. Decided on Pixel 4a 5g. The newer phone is slightly larger but much thinner. Seamless transition only required 3 additional logins as everything else transitioned automatically with google tools. Slightly warmer on new phone when watching a video. Teetering use 5G yielding 150/150 megabits/sec from AT&T. Wish I had done it sooner since GPS works in location where Nexus didnt. Newer Android OS is much quicker responding to inputs with no pauses. Multi-day on a single charge with a more accurate battery charge state then Nexus. Great upgrade from Google

> 24 hourEl teléfono es muy equilibrado en todos los aspectos, no es muy grande,lo puedas usar con una sola mano ni tampoco tan pequeño, es delgado y ligero, si eres un usuario promedio a alto es un teléfono que te gustará, la cámara es muy buena en todas situaciones de luz, el video es estable, creo que es de los mejores teléfonos del mercado y poco valorados, muy buen precio por la calidad que ofrece.
