> 3 dayIm a little biased since i went from an iphone 6 to this but i am pretty blown away. At first i was disappointed in the display and camera and thought it was grainy until my dumb*** took off the protective film that comes on it brand new. The display is clear and great, the camera is just amazing, night sight is spectacular. The photo sphere is brand new tech to me so i love it! Its nice to be back with android again after so many years, i missed the customization of phones including background, app placement, sounds and so on. Finger print sensor isnt new to me, but compared to the iphone, its night and day on speed and performance. Spoiled people complain about the dumbest little things, but in my opinion this is a solid phone. Posted a before and after of night sight used.

> 3 dayIm not high-tech when it comes to my cell phone. This replaced my old Motorola flip-phone, as 3G is no longer supported by AT&T. I dont use all the features as of yet. Every time I play with it, I find more and more useful features. Very high quality resolution and a very sharp image. I would recommend.

Greater than one weekIm not a huge fan of the back swipe feature. It interferes with swiping to the left in other apps and when trying to view a photo album. I would like an expandable memory card slot for my already large collection of family/baby photos. The battery life is amazing though! Picture quality is outstanding in low light.

> 3 dayI have the clearly white, and along with the clear OtterBox case it looks great. The speed is top notch and the battery lasts at least 24-36 hours. Vivid pics and quality videos. Only knock is no SD card. Other than that, its a top android phone

> 3 dayOne day in and Im very happy with this phone. I inserted my Verizon 4G LTE SIM card and it worked without issue. My city does not have Verizons 5G UW band, and as for Verizons other 5G, the Nationwide band, coverage is hit or miss anyway based on their coverage map for my town. But who cares about 5G? I spend 97.5% of my time on WiFi. Even before the pandemic forcing work from home full time I still used WiFi in the office. Check the coverage maps and consider your use case, and realize its stupid for Verizon to charge an extra $100 for the same phone that they also load bloatware onto and place other unnecessary restrictions on. Update: There must be no such thing as a 5G SIM card because I was out the other day and my signal showed 5G anyway.

> 3 dayI bought the phone in early September and really liked it, awesome battery life and for me, had all of the features I needed. Just over 2 months since I started using the phone it died. Went to bed one night with a battery showing 80% and it the morning the phone was off, could not get it to turn back on. Contacted the seller and all I got from them was an email stating: hello, the 30 days return period expired. please check a different charger and cable. if issue persist, call google or 3rd party repairs. water damages are not covered. I did notice that if you purchase the same device today, from the same seller, the return window is open until January 31 2022. Real shame I had to buy the phone when I did. Trying to find support for a dead phone is useless on the Google website, just keep going around in circles and when you call them the message is Due to the Pandemic, we have a minimal support staff, please check our website for help then they hang-up. I wanted to buy an Android phone from an American company, guess not. Looks like Ill be sending more of my fixed income to china. Really bad time to be retired in America, really feel Ive been scammed.

> 3 dayThe Google Pixel 4A 5G truly sounds impressive on paper with its Night Vision mode, powerful videography capabilities, 5G connectivity, extensive suite of apps, large file storage capacity, all-day battery, video streaming, yadda yadda yadda. And its THIN! And its LIGHT! - Only 168 grams! Theres only one problem, however. It is as fragile as a potato chip. Six days ago, I was walking through my neighborhood with my nine-month-old Google Pixel 4A 5G in my front right pants pocket. The Pixel was encased in a Spigen Tough Armor case and was equipped with a tempered glass screen protector. Due to an unfortunate encounter with a dog, I tripped and fell - on my back, mind you. I was fortunately not hurt (although to this day I hope that worthless dog gets struck by lightning), but when I pulled my Pixel out of my pocket to exchange phone numbers with the dogs owner, I discovered the damage you see in the attached pictures. The phone display showed what I can only describe as a green screen of death. From that moment to now, the phone has been totally unusable. The front screen is destroyed, the headphone jack is destroyed, and the back cover has partially separated from the front of the phone. And all this from a drop of about 33 inches. (Im not a tall guy!) A drop that occurred while the phone was not only in its protective case, but was still in my pocket! Which leads to two philosophical questions. First, if a phone has impressive capabilities, yet is too fragile to take with you on a walk, what good is it? I dont play video games, nor do I watch movies on smartphones. And if I want to take pictures, there are plenty of good cameras that I can buy. My Pixels capabilities are worthless to me now, and I am out $500 dollars for a phone thats turned into a piece of junk. Second, whats with the obsession that manufacturers and sellers of certain things have with weight and size? Were constantly being bombarded with marketing that says that we should buy the lightest, thinnest versions of certain very expensive things - as if the presence of even two or three extra grams will pin us to the ground. Its not like were competing in the summer Olympics! I am thinking right now of the Greek myth of Sisyphus being punished eternally by being forced to roll a large boulder up a hill only to have the boulder slip out of his hands just before he gets to the hilltop. And I can imagine someone coming to him and saying, Dude - the reason you cant roll that rock over the hill is because of the smartphone youre carrying! It adds weight and slows you down! You should buy one of our phones, because they dont weigh anything more than air! Thin + light does not always equal cutting-edge quality. Thin + light = cheap sometimes.

> 3 dayThe clean Pixel look and feel at 5G on Metro combined with a earphone jack is a great buy! The stereo is better than my Pixel 2 or ZTE ZMAX ever was and the battery Life is nearly 2 days (YMMV). Put it in a nice case and the LK glass screen protector to keep it pristine during my skiing and hiking (I hope). Almost the same size as my Pixel 2 but almost a full inch bigger screen with twice times the storage.

Greater than one weekHigh end devices like the Note 20 Ultra are getting easier and easier to pass up. This is a great device, I had a Note 20u for a few months because I wanted to check out the telephoto lens. Very cool and something Id love to see added back to the Pixel line but in the end it isnt worth paying triple the price. Speed wise the 4a 5g is only slightly slower than my Note 20 and in practical terms I rarely if ever notice any slowdowns. Same with battery life, Im seeing similar battery life and I had to turn my Notes refresh rate down to 60 to get decent battery life. No bloatware? Nice plus as well. My biggest beef with my note was the price and the fact that I had nagging issues with Samsungs crapware / system software. Lastpass had continual issues due to the Notes aggressive battery management. I white listed it but there was some sub process getting shut down which allowed overlay and it would cause Lastpass to stop filling. Then I had problems with getting the stupid thing to connect with my Chromebook for unlocking / messaging. The pixel just works. You would be hard pressed to beat what you are getting for the money here. Im a heavy user, dont hesitate to buy this and pass on the overpriced premium devices. They are a waste of money.
