> 3 dayI use a Consumer Cellular sim card on the ATT network. The phone worked well for a while, but now it sends most incoming calls right to voicemail. I spoke with Consumer Cellular and the rep thought it was fixed. A moment after hanging up, another call went straight to voicemail. Since it is literally impossible to speak with a Google/Pixel representative, I think I am out $500. Dont buy this phone! I have managed to restore the phone to full use, and it is receiving calls again. I played with many settings, and when I disabled the VoLTE setting, the phone function returned. Go figure.

> 3 dayI needed to replace my 4g old cellphone with a 5g as I was having signal problems traveling. It was much cheaper at Amazon than through T-Mobile. I was able to set it up myself by switching my SIM card and downloading my personal info through my account. It took less than an hour to get it set up and learn the new features on a Google phone. I have been extremely pleased with it.

> 3 dayWorks perfectly fine. I expected a Google box or something but just came in a cardboard box. (Made for phone) not sure if thats how google does it or not. Did come with charger but it sucked. Nbd considering type c is easily accessible. Camera is good as expected. Id just recommend using another charger. Other than that perfectly fine.

> 3 dayI needed a replacement for my Samsung Galaxy s4 I bought in 2014. The Samsung phone still worked but with Android 5 most apps would not run on it. Also I was getting so many spam calls here in Las Vegas that it was driving me crazy. First priority I wanted a phone that would screen calls for me. None of the call blocker apps worked well enough for me and I did not want to pay extra charges for some premium app. When I heard that Google had a built in call screener, I decided I had to get a Pixel phone. Next I wanted a phone that would stay current with software updates as long as possible because I intend to keep it forever. Google guarantees three years worth of updates which is the longest I could find. So I had to get Pixel phone. Finally I wanted a phone with a big enough screen that i could read it easily as I am over 70 and my eyes arent what they used to be. This is why I picked the Pixel 4a with 5G instead of the Pixel 4a. I didnt care about waterproofing or wireless charging, etc. because the phone was going into a case with a glass cover for protection. I got my phone from Amazon in early December after waiting for Prime day and Black Friday and being disappointed that there were no discounts. If I had waited a bit longer i could have gotten $50 off, but thats life. Ive had the phone now for around three months and it works well. I LOVE the call screener, It comes with Android 11 and should be good at least through Android 14. The size is just right and it is much faster than my old S4 and runs all the apps I will ever use. I dont make many calls so one charge lasts almost 4 days. It charges completely from almost zero to 100% in about an hour and a half - much faster than my S4. The only weak point is that occasionally the fingerprint reader takes several tries to work. I signed up with T-Mobile on their $15/mo plan and the connections I get around Vegas are superb. Often I get a 5G connection and I have yet to have a dropped call. I rarely use data outside my home so 2GB/mo is plenty for my use. I rarely use the camera. I have heard it is great. But Ill probably never know. Bottom line is I am very happy with this phone. I expect to keep it for many, many years.

> 3 dayShort and sweet. My first venture into a Google phone and like everything Google it is the best. The layout and functions are easy to navigate and as for the camera, better than my Nikon. The display is crystal clear and it comes with an earphone jack which for me is great because I love to listen to audiobooks and my wire-less earbuds lose power too often. More features than I have time to go into but I can say more than others. Just a novice review but by a very happy buyer.

Greater than one weekI got new hearing aids whose controlling app required a version of Android newer than Oreo on my favored but ancient LG V20. So I wanted a new phone that would support the app plus 5G plus a 3.5mm jack plus did not cost an arm and a leg. the 4a 5G fit the bill and I have been very happy with it. I had live translate on my old phone that let me hear what the tour leader was saying while on the bus and it is still there. But in addition there is live captioning that translates audiobooks, videos, calls etc in real time. I also prefer the fingerprint reader because I have doubts that face-recognition would would with covid masks. The battery is a little under-powered (I had a 10,000 mah monster for the V20 which had easily replaceable batteries) but it picks up quite a bit of charge in a few minutes. So I am very happy with this baby.

Greater than one weekHaving been a satisfied Nexus 5X since November 2015 I saw no reason to upgrade. Nexus battery is finally barely lasting a day. Decided on Pixel 4a 5g. The newer phone is slightly larger but much thinner. Seamless transition only required 3 additional logins as everything else transitioned automatically with google tools. Slightly warmer on new phone when watching a video. Teetering use 5G yielding 150/150 megabits/sec from AT&T. Wish I had done it sooner since GPS works in location where Nexus didnt. Newer Android OS is much quicker responding to inputs with no pauses. Multi-day on a single charge with a more accurate battery charge state then Nexus. Great upgrade from Google

Greater than one weekI love my new phone its been easy to adjust to working with the added bonus. All the added bonus have worked well with my lack of Tec skills. After having a phone that didnt work too easily it is nice to have one that is wonderful. So far the only problem was finding a accessories like a case and protection glass cover, found only one as the phone is new.

> 3 dayAt first it was ok for the price. Pictures are amazing once you take them (well get to that). The 5G depends on what carrier you have. For me I have T-Mobile and half the time if it says 5G and full bars, that basically means I have no service and cant connect to the internet. If I have 5G and its half or very little bars, that means I have good service. I know, its stupid and makes no sense. The OS is good overall but as usual, Google is stripping down or dumbing down all their services in some way or another. That means for the Pixels less options and less customization. So if theres a way you can revert back to Android a year ago, then do it. Otherwise its ok but inching closer to the Apple* mentality of heres 1 option, just take it. Now for the camera. Holy hell the delay when you hit the button and it actually taking the picture is absolutely abominable when you first start the camera app. If youre an iphone user, this is your ammunition. You can use this to make fun of Android, full stop. Its hilarious. If youre a photographer and need to capture stuff in the moment, stop reading this and buy something else. Its atrocious. I took a 2 minutes 4k video and it took 15 minutes to rotate the video 90 degrees. Yep. If youre willing to wait sometimes up to 5 seconds to take your picture then this is good haha. Everything else is typical android. Overall, just save your money and get the flagship pixel phones with a processor thats actually worth a damn like the Pixel 4, 4xl, etc. They made sure to put the 5G capability in the mediocre models and it sucks.
