> 3 dayPerhaps my favorite purchase ever. Upgrade from a good router and extender to this 3-set and wifi feels like a different animal. Delivered in one day and set up in about five minutes with a very simple app. Fast, complete coverage in an almost 5000 sq. ft. house. Have not found any dead spots yet. The way wifi is supposed to be. Highly recommended.

> 3 dayI set up a Google wifi mesh network in my house half a year ago. I bought this to increase the coverage. It is very easy to set up and add to your existing mesh network. It takes about 4 minutes. I love the coverage it supplies. Super happy with this Google wifi system.

> 3 dayI have been in the IT field for years and have set up countless networks. For home or SOHO, these are fantastic. Setup could not have been easier. I am also very pleased with signal strength and reliability.

> 3 dayI was amazed by how fast my internet actually got bumped up! I was working with a 80-90 Mbps internet until I got the Google Wifi, and now I am working with 100-110+ Mbps easy, I am truly getting the real amount I paid my ISP for!

Greater than one weekMy Xfinity install guy suggested either Orbi or Google systems and i went with google due to price. I got two, but i think i could have gotten away with one unit (small house, largish yard). The primary is hooked up to a Motorola MB8600 (DOCSIS 3.1) and following the online instructions, i was able to get my main and secondary up and running within 10min. Whats interesting is that during the day, typical downspeed on my Samsung GS7 is ~80Mbps, but at night i can get over 250Mbps. So i ran speedtest on three devices at ~the same time: GS7, iphone6s, ipad4. They are all pulling from one google module and i get the following download speeds: GS7=68Mbps iphone6s=153Mbps ipad4= 79Mbps If i run either phone solo, they will get ~250Mbps (ipad4 nvr gets above 101). When i run speedtest from my desktop (wired through the google main) I get 300Mbps (xfinity max). It appears that each google module can only handle the ISP maximum shared with any number of devices. In our small house we have so many devices competing for wireless bandwith: roku, amazon fire tablet, asus windows tablet, 2 ipads, 2 laptops, 4 phones, xbox, nintendo switch, etc; granted only 3 or 4 devices are pulling at any given time, but its nice to know that (with my 2 modules...with a large overlap area) several people can be working wireless at the same time. No one in the house has ever complained about dropped signal or lag and i havent had to reboot the router or modem (its only been a few weeks, so well see).

> 3 dayI installed Google WiFi in order to improve coverage and performance in my home. I have a 2000 sq ft home so I thought the 3 pack would be more than enough. Wrong. Coverage was weak. The best part was the slow speeds though. We have fiberoptic internet and download speeds hover around 460 mbps. I was lucky if I got 9 Mbps on any one device. If 2 or more devices were using the same hub the internet would just drop out. I worked with Google tech support on these issues and got nowhere. They stopped calling me back when they realized their product was the problem and not my modem, other wifi signals in the area, etc. Truly disappointed. I have a Google Pixel phone and love it. I thought Googles ingenuity and quality would extend to this product as well. I was wrong. If you have smart devices in your home and various tablets, TVs, and other wifi dependent technology, please stay away from this product. It will drop connection, deliver slow speeds, and cant handle more than one device per hub.

> 3 dayFor this review I am discussing the three pack Mesh and not the standalone version of this product. Are you an average home user that needs solid WiFi throughout a good sized home, and you do not want to be bothered by setting up a few WiFi extenders that have different SSIDs, this may be what you are looking for. The same holds true if you do IT for a living and do not want to be a network engineer for your home network for you and all of your family members. But if you feel you need to see behind the curtain on all the technology you own, or the think you are a major IT guru, even if you are not, this is probably not for you. I waited a month or so to write my review because I tried another brand Mesh system before and it failed on day 27, so I wanted to make sure this one lasted at least six weeks before I wrote anything. Overall the system sets up pretty easily, and it does everything that it claims it will do. I have 25 - 30 items connected to it at any given time, and I have seen no issues with overall performance. As some have noted, you do not have a web interface so you need to use your phone/tablet app to control it, it is fully immersed in the Google infrastructure which means they may have access to your logs (not a big deal if you are not committing any crimes) but the same holds true for your ISP, your cellphone provider, and pretty much all of your social media accounts... but I digress. The upside is that if you need to make any changes to your home network you can do it from almost anywhere in the world. The down side is there is no workaround if your mobile device dies and you need to make changes. At this time there is no desktop application to make changes with. After setting up the primary access point, adding additional units is pretty painless and simple in fact the installation software steps you through the process and does all of the heavy lifting including testing the mesh speeds and internet connections before it lets you start using the system. I also like that you can adjust the brightness of the LED on the unit or turn it off completely if you have it in your bedroom or some other space you prefer not to have a bright light all the time. Additional insights: Yes you can change the non-routable IP address range you use on your home network (it is in the settings area under LAN or local area network), you can tweak your DNS settings, turn IPv6 on or off, connect the Mesh to a network switch for wired connections, create and manage reservations of IP addresses, and set up port forwarding. I have read a number of reviews for this item that claim you are not able to do these things; I am not sure if there was a upgrade to the software or application that added these features later, or if the individuals writing their reviews didnt know where to look for these settings. Also if you like all of the blinking lights that you are used to seeing on home routers, this system may seem odd to you and may make you wonder if it is working properly. Notes: The cost may be prohibitive for some; it would be nice to have a desktop application or a least a web interface via your Google profile to connect to this; and I would like to see them come in different colors; it would be nice if it made coffee for me too.

> 3 dayThis is by far the best purchase you can make to fill your house with USABLE WiFi. Extenders just DON’T WORK. A MESH system is what you want. Moved in to a bigger house and adding a third unit was a piece of cake. So easy to set up. Easy to configure. You even get notifications when the network goes down. Very helpful. You won’t regret this purchase. 1 unit per 1200 sq. feet is a good ballpark.
