> 3 dayWe were having an issue with weak WiFi so decided to replace our current router. I did some research and decided to get this one. I liked the features and I loved the price. Its honestly the easiest router that Ive ever used. Setup was a breeze. With this router, our WiFi signal is much stronger - even though its set up in a bedroom whose door is always closed. Our house is less than 1200 square feet and one level.

Greater than one weekSame old story I guess. Two story house, extenders, points of use, etc.. I was really hanging on hard to my old hybrid system. Hybrid in the sense that it was both wired lan and wi-fi. I have 3 10 port gig switches in the house, and all are hardwired. The more Google devices and Nest devices I added the more flaky the network got. Especially since Google likes everyone to be on the same wi-fi network in order to play nice. I tried different methods to make my other wi-fi extenders work, but they were all viewed as different networks. Not to mention 2.5 vs the 5G that was present. I Even tried giving them all the same SSIDs as a last ditch effort, it was a no go. It just became too much work, so I bought Googles Wi-fi 3 pck. Everything is wonderful now. I was especially concerned about my Desktop PC thats hardwired, because my WAN speeds via my ISP are pretty fast. Not gig, but about 186Mbps, and my old router was fast. Not to worry though, because I think I picked up some speed with the the Google router. Its now about 202Mbps. Thats using my speed test and not the Google app on the phone. Im not sure where Googles speed test server is physically located, but the physical location and distance seems to make a big difference. Cheers!

Greater than one weekNever leave reviews but this product, so far, is amazing. The other reviews are correct that it is simple to install and within minutes out of the box you are up and running. Speed is nearly tripled from old router (an older model Belkin), and now reaches the far corners of house/outside. I have 17 devices total (multiple smart home devices) and have not noticed a drop in efficiency.

> 3 dayThe set up was easy. They are more attractive than ones with antenna. I was disappointed that the signal is weaker in the outbuilding, but overall very pleased with the performance. Of two extenders I had used in the past, I was able to add the linksys to the network, but was unsuccessful with the TPLink. My hope is that this will last a few years. Previous netgear routers were having to be replaced every 2-3 years.

> 3 dayOverall, its been awesome. I get a steady 92Mbps WiFi speed. Ive had a quite a few times were the signal drops on a device and it takes a minute to connect again. I found it important to centrally locate the main device and not use one as a relay. The floors and walls degrade more signal then I thought. Even devices that seem close together, maybe 20 feet apart, but on different floors, can have poor connectivity.

> 3 daySignal is great, the interface is a bit difficult, but the major issue is limitations galore. Basically get this product is you dont want to know anything or control anything in your network. If you want to do anything or control anything on your network, this is not the product for you. When in mesh mode you MUST use a NAT, you have no choice. If you already have a network setup and are just looking to add Wifi, you will not be able to connect to devices on your wifi. Thanks google!

> 3 dayPrior to purchasing the Google WiFi router I was using a Netgear modem/router which resulted in stuttering when streaming 4K from a Synology NAS. Since setting up the Google router I am able to stream 4K 100 mbps files from the NAS without an issue.
