So far so good! Im not a tech savvy person and this was really easy to set up. Although some people might find the light to be annoying, theres an option to turn this off or dim it through the app - I have the router in my bedroom and the dimmed light is barely noticeable.

This was a replacement for an aging 4 year old asus router that had served us well. We are getting excellent coverage after placing all three units around the house and setup was easy.

I had an Airport Extreme for many years that I was afraid to say goodbye to. But it just wasnt cutting it anymore in my new 2-story house and externally-located devices (Like Ring). But these little units have blown me away. Incredibly strong signals and reliable (and easy). If you have two levels you will want at least 2 of these. Even if you have a small (~2000 sq ft) house. 1 star deduction because apparently these are a *little* quirky with iOS sometimes. On very rare occasion my phone will think I dont have internet when everything else (Non-iOS) in the house does. These also do not support VLAN tagging (Take note CenturyLink Gigabit customers). Hopefully these quirks and features can be remedied in a future software update.

I am not a big fan of Google in general, but so far this has been a great product. My computers are located on three (3) different floors of the house and the WiFi signal has improved 100% to each floor. I have an older Dell with no internal WiFi card and needed to use an Ethernet cord the nest. I have 100 megabytes fiber service both downloading and uploading, and lose very little if any to each device. Installing is not a plug- n-play but the phone app which I needed made it less complicated. * Windows 7 vs Windows 10 is slower on my computers but no fault of Google WiFi nest.

I have my cable modem pushing out 170 mbps on a hard line directly connected to a computer and on my iPhone I can get the same 170 mbps - I think the specs say it’s good up to 400 mbps but my Internet is not that fast so I don’t know whether that works or not. For me and my uses 170s fast enough. The app that controls the Wi-Fi system is OK I wish it had more individual controls for each user however it does a great job better than anything else I’ve seen to tell me who is connected to my network and how much data each user uses even when a additional access point is on my network. The range is great I only needed one in my house

Easy installation and great Wifi connection anywhere in the house. Best WiFi mesh. No degradation of speed.

This exceeded my expectations. It was a breeze to set up and now Im finally getting the speeds I pay for throughout the entire house (2800sq ft. Im using all three spread evenly through the home). Was having issues before with dead spots and slow speeds. Not anymore. This is a must buy. Way better than any extenders and POE I used before.

Google WiFi was the second mesh system I tried (after the Netgear Nighthawk X4S). Compared to the Nighthawk, it was extremely easy to set up and very reliable. The problem, however, was that its throughput never represented more than a fraction of the speed I am paying for. If I connected to anything other than the primary node (the router), experienced speeds were generally 20% of the max I could be getting (I pay for 330mbps and was getting around 50-70mbps). Ultimately, I ditched Google for the Netgear Orbi, another easy-to-setup system, and the speeds Im getting from the extender units have more than doubled.

Amazing product, I bought a nice router/modem combo that was suppose to support up to 300 mbps that I was paying for from Xfinity. However it was hardly pulling 100 mbps and had weak points in our house including trouble spots for our Ring doorbell/security cameras. However once we installed this we immediately started pulling around 250 mbps and expanded our network throughout the house (2 stories). This has been the easiest electronic set up- really is plug and play

Love this product! The usability of the app (the flexibility to prioritize different devices, instant feedback on connection speeds, etc) and simplicity of setup, combined with the consistency of signal makes this the best on the market.

Enjoy a fast signal in every room, on every device. Google Wi-Fi is a new type of connected system that replaces your router for seamless coverage throughout your home. It is a standalone whole home mesh system which does not promise compatibility or interoperability with other 3rd party Wifi systems. But compatible with all Wifi client devices.
