Im not sure whats wrong with this role of tape . I usually buy at hardware store but I ordered this on because previous ordered one was just fine . This particular role had very little stick to it and then it stuck so bad it was like super glue and left black everywhere. Im sure this was just issue with this particular role I hope . Wasnt water proof at all

Gorilla anything is awesome. This tape really does the trick. I couldn’t tear it with my hands very well. Had to use scissors.

I was not successful in repairing an expandable garden hose. I have not attempted to use it for any other project.

This tape does a great job resisting the sun and rain and heat and cold out in the weather. Its on my list of best ways to seal outside stuff room coming inside.

Very sturdy and strong. But it can be difficult to peel from roll. Will surely by again

The tape is low tack meaning it does not stick well... until exposed to heat. Too much heat and it is no longer low tack. Optimal application temperature is 70-90 degrees. Colder and it wont stick without exposure to sun (or a heat gun). ON HOT DAYS 80+ KEEP THIS OUT OF THE SUN UNTIL APPLIED. It will be TOO sticky if left in the sun on the roll on a hot day, you wont be able to get it off the roll. Once applied, the sun will hit it and it will get gooey and then it is permanent. We use this as a deck joist tape with great results. Cheapest on the market and appears better than the competition.

Ive been using this tape for years on electronics, etc, but never for outdoor objects. When I tried using it outdoors, the extreme cold / heat would loosen the adhesive and dry the tape out within days. I dont know why they advertise this for outdoor use... anyone that can afford a lawyer could probably document what Im saying and sue them to change their advertising, but to what end? Only our reviews can give us the info we need. This tape only lasts so long and is meant for indoor use only, is all I can say.

I don’t know what this product is made of, but somehow has endured all the adversities! I purchased this tape back in 2020 to hold up my mailbox that was hit my a car. It was a temporary thing …. 2 years later still holding strong! Scorching Florida sun, rain, and a hurricane !!! So if you need THE tape, that’s THE ONE!

This tape is very sticky and I love Gorilla products but this tape doesnt hold in the heat 90 degrees weather and everything falls apart!
