I have a lot of different pin cushions and holders, depending on what type of project I’m working on. I got this magnetic one to use by my sewing machine, so when I’m concentrating on my stitching I don’t even have to look over because this one “grabs” the pins. It helps keep my workspace tidy! It’s heavy enough to double as a pattern weight on my cutting table as well. The magnet is strong enough to hold the pins, but not so much you’re fighting to get them off. Great tool!

I dont sew a lot, but when I do, I am always losing pins and have this bulky pincushion because its easier to stick. I cant believe I never got one of these! Everyone talks about how great it is for dropping pins and even picking them up off the floor with a wave of the cushion, but what I loved best is how FLAT it is. It FITS in my sewing basket, where my old, much larger pincushion did not, and I was always misplacing it. Thats awesome!!

This product is a must for gathering your pins and not accidently pricking yourself. It makes picking up my pins up way more faster, and saves me time and the pain from accidently pricking myself. It is a absolute deal for its price and I would recommend it to people who sew. It even came with pins as well which was a neat little surprise.

I’ve had a long series of magnetic pin holders but none as effective and well designed as this one. The magnet is strong enough to hold 75+ pins even when turned upside down. The gentle curved top makes it easy to grab a single pin. Good design well made.

I adore this thing! Its kept me from stepping on stray pins. I have cats, curious, curious cats, who like to play with anything that Ive had my hands on... including sharp, pokey straight pins. The magnet in this discourages them from pulling a pin off and carrying it away; it also keeps the pins in place when the cat(s) knock the whole kitnkaboodle to the floor - which one has done, while staring at me, as if to say, Oh, you like this so much? See how fun it is to pick up... wait, they didnt scatter. The pins - they were supposed to scatter all over the floor! Curses! Foiled by Grabbit magnetic pin cushion! Ah, Grabbit magnetic pin cushion, how I adore thee. Plus, on those occasions when Ive dropped a pin and cant see/find it, Ive waved the pin cushion over the area and the magnet picks up the pin. Awesomeness. The only warning I have for other users: the pins are plastic-headed. Dont try to iron the heads. Really. They melt. Ask me how I know.

I love everything about the pins and magnetic pin cushion. The pins just go right in and stay! The green color is awesome too!

This is a SUCH a cute shade of green!;) I love this little pin holder, and the pins dont disconnect. It feels very sturdy and is perfect for sewing or any other project that uses lots of pins. Definitely recommend!:)

I just purchased this magnetic pincushion. I already had one that my aunt gave me years ago but wanted another one so I didnt have to keep moving it to another sewing table I have. I love it as much as the one I already have. I will say the needles that came with the pincushion were not as sharp as I would have liked but I didnt buy it for the needles so it wasnt a big deal to me that they werent so sharp.

This item has been a life saver. I did not like pushing pins into the cushion as I removed them from my garments. I used to use a small cup but I tisked knocking it over. With the grabbit being magnetic i just about drop the pins close to or directly on top and they stay put. This is extremely helpful if like me, you remove pins quickly as you sew and have no time to neatly place it in a pin cushion. The grabbit is awesome and I no longer rely on a pin cushion or cup.
