Grabbit Magnetic Sewing Pincushion with 50 Plastic Head Pins, Black

I have been sewing for years and honestly never knew the Grab It existed! Now I dont know how I got along without it. Its a fantastic concept and a must for anyone who sews. I first saw it on a sewing tutorial, went to Amazon and ordered it! It is so useful, no longer do I have pins all over my sewing area including the floor! I just put my pins near the top and it sucks them in. Or if I do drop any on the floor I can just wave it over the area and it will find them and pick them up. My whole family will appreciate no more pins on the floor!! Perfect! Love that it comes with additional pins as well. Do yourself a favor and get a Grab It asap!!

I go through spurts of sewing. Recently I was making face masks for friends (Covid 19). I ordered it because I was tired of pins all over the house. Love it! I plan on ordering a second one to keep at the ironing board area as I press and remove pins there. One will stay at sewing machine. Came quickly and well packaged.

I used the same magnetic pincushion since the 80s, that is until I knocked it off the table one too many times and broke it. I replaced it with two Grabbits, black and teal, so I could have one at my sewing machine and the other by my coverstitch. These are every bit as nice and heavy as my vintage one. Toss the pins to the Grabbit as you sew and they go right in, all lined up the same direction as they should. To prevent knocking them off my tables I bought two textured jar openers (from Amazon) to put underneath to keep them from sliding. Works great!

This is exactly what I was looking for! I am newer to seeing and I wanted something to hold my pins. This works perfectly! The base is magnetized enough to hold all 50 pins with no problems. I have not tried to use more than the pins provided. Very convenient.

I love the ability to quickly pitch the pin to the magnet as Im removing them from the material as Im sewing. I dont have to try and stick the pin an actual cushion, slowing me down on a project or hope they dont roll off the table because Im too lazy to bother placing them in one while sewing. Its really convenient. If you are organized, you can place them in the same direction and minimize poking yourself while retrieving one. If you dont ever want to risk poking yourself from retrieving a pin from the pin cushion, then maybe this isnt for you. But really, if you are sewing and never get poked, youre from another world. Would definitely buy again.

Love love love this! Holds a ton of pins, has a strong magnet, grabs them easily. I bought this for my 7 year old learning to sew, and it’s perfect. Both my boys just want to lay the pins down when done with them, they don’t want to be bothered sticking them into a pin cushion. This makes it easy for them and means I don’t have to pick up after them or find them all over the table & floors. We even throw it into a sewing box when not sewing and they stay put.

This product is a must for gathering your pins and not accidently pricking yourself. It makes picking up my pins up way more faster, and saves me time and the pain from accidently pricking myself. It is a absolute deal for its price and I would recommend it to people who sew. It even came with pins as well which was a neat little surprise.

I absolutely love this magnetic pincushion. This is my third one. I have one for quilting pins, one for sewing pins, and one for safety pins. Now I need another for paper clips!! This is truly one of the best inventions ever. I’m not the most careful person when I remove pins when I’m working. Well this cushion (of hard plastic) takes care of all my concerns. We have 2 Bengal cats that go after anything they’re not supposed to have so I’m constantly concerned they will find a stray pin and get hurt on it. This Grabb’t takes care of that concern and makes my job and cleanup SUPER EASY!! All I have to do is pick it up and run it over the table (or wherever) and it “grabs” all the stray pins - just like magic!!! I love love love this accessory - and feel every person, seamstress, quilter, or not - needs at least one of these Grabb’ts. ❤️❤️

I first need to say What a company the first one I received was packaged with three very heavy items and of course this item was broken. Had no hassles and got my replacement the very next day! Undamaged and I love this product! The strong magnet grabs all the pins I give it. This magnet helps me in my quilting by getting the pins but also by letting them go just as easily as I put them near the magnet. Also small enough to fit in my machine or next to giving me room to sew !! What a time saver.
