I love this pin holder. It fits so many pins and holds them securely. Get the pin close and the holder grabs it. You could even pick up pins on a table by passing over them if thats the way you work or if you dropped one.

It holds the pins firmly along with scissors or other metal objects that get close. It has a very strong magnet. It doesn’t hold many more pins than what comes with it handily, but would recommend it to anyone.

I purchased one of these for myself and one for my Mom. They hold all sizes of pins - quilting and sewing. If you happen to drop some pins on the floor while sewing you just flip it upside down and it picks up the pins on the floor. I would definitely recommend.

I used the same magnetic pincushion since the 80s, that is until I knocked it off the table one too many times and broke it. I replaced it with two Grabbits, black and teal, so I could have one at my sewing machine and the other by my coverstitch. These are every bit as nice and heavy as my vintage one. Toss the pins to the Grabbit as you sew and they go right in, all lined up the same direction as they should. To prevent knocking them off my tables I bought two textured jar openers (from Amazon) to put underneath to keep them from sliding. Works great!

Pins and I have a love/hate relationship. I get so caught up in my sewing that I can lose track of where I put pins as I pull them out, they can end up on the floor, under my machine, or get hidden by fabric that I sweep away on my cutting mat, only to feel that sharp pain...well, you know what I mean. This is so great!! I dont have to be precise with a usual pincushion, etc., now. The truth is that you can almost toss them in the general direction of this Grabbit and theyre sucked onto it! They line up in a nice way, as well, so that you can go for a pin without worrying about sticking yourself, as happens in a pin box, etc. Id happily gift this to any sewer I know!!

I love this magnetic pin cushion. I am really OCD about my pins staying off the floor so this was perfect for me. I had a regular pin cushion before purchasing this and it was really inconvenient as I would find a random pin on the floor from time to time. THIS is one of my BEST PURCHASES EVER. It has a very strong magnetic hold. You won’t regret this purchase.

I like this magnetic holder, however I bought additional pins and they do not work with the magnet. My old pins do though so that is confusing to me. It says there is a cover, but it is pretty weak.

This was exactly what I was looking for; the pins stay on even when turned upside down and shaken. That this came with pins, too, was an added bonus. It is a nice size and appears sturdy. I was told by a family member that this would be great for paperclips, too. No doubt that is true.

I love the color, love the strength of the magnet and I actually use the plastic case it came in to secure the pins which is still functioning after so many times of using it. must buy if you sew, its a lifesaver!
