> 24 hourI was very nervous about using these given the mixed reviews, so hopefully this helps anyone on the fence about using them. I bought two different colors, the gray and the white. The gray definitely has a slight blue-ish cast, so if that is going to bother you use a different brand. The white is a true bright white without any ivory or yellow. Do not count on this matching your existing grout. You will not be able to just touch up a few areas. Just plan on doing the entire room. As to usage, I was pleasantly surprised by how far these went. I did the entire floor of my large master bathroom plus a little of the shower with one pen. The shower floor has small hex tile with larger grout lines so that took a little over two pens. Some tips: shake very well when first taking out of the package and any time you start working again after a pause. Depress the tip several times on to a paper plate or directly onto the grout line to get the paint flowing. Press very lightly when going over the grout. The tips lasted almost all the way to the end of my project. If the coverage starts to thin, pause and depress the tip a few more times. I would do about a 1x1 foot area, then pass over it lightly with a damp paper towel to get any overage off the tile. It is pretty forgiving and you have quite a bit of working time before it dries completely on the tile. If the tip gets too ragged you can pull it out (I used the damp paper towel) and flip it around. This was not a quick task but it went faster than I thought it would. I was worried the white would look too bright, but it just makes everything look so much cleaner. Very happy with this product!

> 24 hourNot hard to use. Need more than one. Covers well, but the felt tip gets frayed so application becomes difficult.

> 24 hourMy requirement was to brighten up 20 year old dingy looking grout .. grout that was fine otherwise ... and avoid the mess and expense of replacing the grout. My tiles are pure white glazed with a row of black around the perimeter. The Grout Pen White worked out great and the end product looked excellent. I believe I gave the product the best chance of success via industrial grout cleaner, a narrow scrub brush and elbow grease. The tip worked fine for me once i got the hang of it .. it is narrow, but as it gets wet and is dragged along the grout it sort of blossoms a bit into something like a brush .. which is good as it lets you work the liquid into sometimes uneven spots .. if you push down too hard the brush may open up too much ... wear a inexpensive rubber glove and halfway through the job pull the tip out and reverse it. If you have a tricky corner or a larger/wider than usual grout line/area save it for the end of the job and you can easily remove the top of the pen with a pliers, poor the liquid onto a paper plate and use a cheap toothbrush to apply. As my tiles are glazed any excess was easily wiped away with a dry paper towel. I cant say for sure how much area you can expect to cover .. I would think it depends on the size of the tiles and the amount of grout ... and for me I went over it a second time as some parts of the grout were way darker than others .. 2nd pass coverage was fine. I was very happy to have completed the job with a bit less than 2 pens. The test of time will tell if there are issues .. but so far it looks good .. every 4 or 5 days the floor is cleaned with Spic and Span .. and in between with a non-ammonia spray cleaner daily.

> 24 hourI bought this product at the recommendation of a neighbor who has the same old tile floors in her condo. I didnt want to spend a ton of money to replace my bathroom floor so I gave this a shot. I originally purchased 2 pens thinking that would be enough. I went through the 2 pens after doing half of the floor (you can see my bathroom size in the photo). I ended up ordering 3 more. In total I ended up needing 5 pens for my bathroom floor. Depending on the condition of your floor, the process of painting between the tiles can be long and tedious. Mine were in rough shape and needed 3 coats to cover the old grout. It took me approximately 6 hours to finish which I did in increments (2 hours for the first coat then let dry, 2 hours for the second then let dry, 2 hours for the third). I had the TV on in the background so it wasnt bad. I had to get in a rhythm of shaking the pen and gently pushing it on the tile, but once you get the hang of it, its easy. Do not press hard when applying it or you will crush the tip. The only negative thing I could say is that I wish the consistency of the paint would have been a bit thicker so I didnt have to apply so many coats, but otherwise, great product!

> 24 hourI like this product it works really well on the grout; however, it’s a little pricey for how much area it does

> 24 hourWasted a lot of it just trying to get the paint on the vertical bath tiles. It would work better for flat surfaces. Gave up and bought a brush and enamel paint. However, I used the thicker tip for the bath floor and that worked well.
