> 3 dayHad a very nasty looking ring of yellow at the front base of my toilet. No doubt I could call it a “guy ring”. Had purchased a large container of filler from big box store that asked my guy to use on the stain. I was frustrated that my guy never attempted to use it, so I read the directions and found that I needed a special applicator gun for filling the grout line. After some research and reading the reviews, I found this handy dandy pen. PERFECT!!!! Not only was it super easy to use, it covered the stain easily and quickly in one application. I did my second toilet as well. I probably should have gotten off white to match what was there already. Instead I just ran a line around the whole base. My only wish if there to be a larger amount or larger pen for reapplication if it turns yellow again. Hence why one star is taken away. I would gladly just order a second one. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Greater than one weekCant tell you if the paint is special compared to a generic paint pen (because thats essentially what you get), but it works!

> 3 dayIn all seriousness, some reviews scared me because they acted like they used this pen on one strip of grout & it ran out. That is NOT true at all!!!! I am using these on my whole kitchen floor & they work so well and do not run out quickly. I think people pushed too hard at first and/or they didn’t try that hard to use it correctly, lol. They’re awesome & totally worth it!

> 3 dayBasically, this stuff paints your grout. It does a fantastic job for about 15 minutes - then the tip becomes frayed and the paint runs out. Would give it 5 stars if it lasted longer. See my before and after photos of my kitchen tile counter. It doesnt clean up all the dirt in the cracks but does cover most of the uglies.

> 3 dayI ordered five of these pens (3 different orders). The first pen worked great to cover the stain on the grout between my bathroom tile. It restored the tile to a beautiful white color, making the shower look clean and crisp. It was pretty easy to use... most of the time. Some of the time, I had trouble getting the colorant to flow properly, making the task grind to a halt as I attempted over and over to get it flowing. There were at least 2 out of the 5 pens I ordered that I couldnt get to work. Since I was trying to sell the house, it was a real pain to have to stop working on it and order a new pen and wait for it to ship. Had all 5 pens worked, I wouldve been able to cover 2 shower stalls worth of tile in standard sized tub/shower combination bathrooms. I gave 4 stars because I loved the pens when they were working as they should. My advice: Order one or a few extra depending on the size of your job so it can be completed in a timely manner. The other option I tried was a paint on and wipe technique using grout colorant that you pour into a little container and literally use a tiny paint brush to apply the colorant. This technique also worked, but I found it more tedious than the grout pen.

> 3 dayThis pen worked nicely for touching up, but I was not able to finish the job because the tube ran out before I got to the shower seat. I would say you need two tubes for retouching a shower floor. It has not been six hours so I have not tested it fully. Looks nice now.

> 3 dayI rent and can not get my nasty grout replaced. This worked nicely, although I needed 3 for my small shower. After a few months it’s looking grungy again. It’s good as a temporary fix but it’s not going to solve any problems long term.

> 3 daySo I was going back and forth on if I wanted to do this or not and even though I’m done, I’m sure not certain if I like it better. I’m very nervous to see how it wears and washes. Over all it was super easy to work with and put on, I got the thin tip and it was still too wide, especially when the grout begins to tear up the end. Also with the white I had to go over it 3 times because it was black to begin with.
