> 24 hourNot crazy about this product. Not sure what I was expecting, but not this. It doesn’t clean, it just covers like shoe polish. Would not buy again.

> 24 hourI ordered five of these pens (3 different orders). The first pen worked great to cover the stain on the grout between my bathroom tile. It restored the tile to a beautiful white color, making the shower look clean and crisp. It was pretty easy to use... most of the time. Some of the time, I had trouble getting the colorant to flow properly, making the task grind to a halt as I attempted over and over to get it flowing. There were at least 2 out of the 5 pens I ordered that I couldnt get to work. Since I was trying to sell the house, it was a real pain to have to stop working on it and order a new pen and wait for it to ship. Had all 5 pens worked, I wouldve been able to cover 2 shower stalls worth of tile in standard sized tub/shower combination bathrooms. I gave 4 stars because I loved the pens when they were working as they should. My advice: Order one or a few extra depending on the size of your job so it can be completed in a timely manner. The other option I tried was a paint on and wipe technique using grout colorant that you pour into a little container and literally use a tiny paint brush to apply the colorant. This technique also worked, but I found it more tedious than the grout pen.

> 24 hourWe have an older home, over 70 years old, with lots of tile work. Much of the grout, particularly the floors, though sound, is discolored. We have found these pens to be a simple and economical way to bring the grout lines back to an attractive state. It takes a bit of doing to get used to using them well, but once you do, it goes very fast. The results are wonderful. We have repurchased pens several times and are very happy with the result. We have been using them long enough to know that the result is long lasting and stands up just find to use and to cleaning. We are extremely happy with the economy, ease of use, and beautiful results of these pens.

> 24 hourI was using it to clean up the grout lines in my bathroom, and it started off great and I thought I love this product! but then 10 minutes (if that) into the project the tips just started fraying and it was soon unusable.

> 24 hourI was very nervous about using these given the mixed reviews, so hopefully this helps anyone on the fence about using them. I bought two different colors, the gray and the white. The gray definitely has a slight blue-ish cast, so if that is going to bother you use a different brand. The white is a true bright white without any ivory or yellow. Do not count on this matching your existing grout. You will not be able to just touch up a few areas. Just plan on doing the entire room. As to usage, I was pleasantly surprised by how far these went. I did the entire floor of my large master bathroom plus a little of the shower with one pen. The shower floor has small hex tile with larger grout lines so that took a little over two pens. Some tips: shake very well when first taking out of the package and any time you start working again after a pause. Depress the tip several times on to a paper plate or directly onto the grout line to get the paint flowing. Press very lightly when going over the grout. The tips lasted almost all the way to the end of my project. If the coverage starts to thin, pause and depress the tip a few more times. I would do about a 1x1 foot area, then pass over it lightly with a damp paper towel to get any overage off the tile. It is pretty forgiving and you have quite a bit of working time before it dries completely on the tile. If the tip gets too ragged you can pull it out (I used the damp paper towel) and flip it around. This was not a quick task but it went faster than I thought it would. I was worried the white would look too bright, but it just makes everything look so much cleaner. Very happy with this product!

> 24 hourThe first grout pen I received was dried out but the other two worked great. They may need to spot check their pens

> 24 hourBasically, this stuff paints your grout. It does a fantastic job for about 15 minutes - then the tip becomes frayed and the paint runs out. Would give it 5 stars if it lasted longer. See my before and after photos of my kitchen tile counter. It doesnt clean up all the dirt in the cracks but does cover most of the uglies.

> 24 hourI really liked the pen when I did the first 3 square feet of tile. However it is not long lasting. It started to dry out after I had done only 1/4th of my countertops and once it was drier, the tip frayed. I liked it enough to buy a another to finish the kitchen however the second did not allow ink to flow as smoothly as the first. It didn’t cover the grout well like the first 1/4th of the kitchen and frayed even faster.

> 24 hourIf you want to touch up a few tiles this is fine. Anything bigger and you will probably not be happy with this .
