> 24 hourReally helpful in keeping the work bench tidy! The stand is very solid and the base is heavy enough that it all stays put on the bench when pulling the solder out. It holds pretty much any diameter reel and very easy to switch out if you need to. The fact that it holds two reels is why I went for this one as opposed to the single one. I use two different gauge solder on my projects and this keeps both in good reach.

> 24 hourThis helps make the wok area more efficient. I use the 1st one for 2 sizes of solder and I Use this one to hold magnet jumper wire and 2 sizes of solder wick.

> 24 hourThis solder reel stand is great! It was relatively easy to assemble and holds 2 reels without a problem. Even the 0.015 Kester reel plays out just fine. No tangling or pulling the stand. I can definitely recommend this!

> 24 hourThis is a well made high quality dispenser. Two spools allows two techs or two different size solder gauges to be dispensed. It is delivered disassembled in a flat pack with all parts indivually bagged to prevent shipping scratches and can be assembled in about 5 minutes. It has heavy duty walls .094 thick and base .125 thick, powder-coated steel. Full wrap-around rubber non-marring base locks on to the steel base and has stainless spring steel guides, the lower one can be fitted on the opposite side for two tech usage. Also has a grounding screw on the base for an ESD ground wire. The top carry handle is nicely chromed and folds. The spool axles are heavy duty ribbed ABS plastic and designed to prevent popping out but also easy to change spools, with .094 maximum side to side play.

> 24 hourFor years I just let my spools of solder sit on the surface of my bench. I survived and so did the solder. But there were times Id get the loose strand of highly conductive solder tangled in various things already present in the working area and the opportunity for an electrical short circuit was a high possibility. But the size solder was very small and a short would probably just melt it, acting as a fuse. But I wanted to have two diameters of solder readily at hand for some new projects and that meant even more chances of an electrical OOPS, and the larger gauge solder wouldnt melt fuse-like as easily as the small, 0.025 diameter thats been my go-to solder for years. This Hakko solder stand was discovered accidentally via a Suggested for you presentation here on Amazon. The size, two-spool capacity, previous experience with Hakko products and price made the decision to buy very easy. The stand stays put. The solder is up and out of the way of my bench surface. The stand is solid, easy to place a spool in and easy to reel in any excess solder that may invade the working area once the soldering is done. I cant complain about any aspect of the stand - it works perfect.
