Hatch Baby Grow Smart Changing Pad and Scale

> 3 dayI bought this right before I had my son a few months ago and am SO happy I did, even though it was a bit more expensive than a normal changing pad: -looove that I can just wipe it off when things get messy. I have enough laundry to clean lol so its nice not to have to also wash a changing pad cover -hes an eating champ now but it was really reassuring the first month when i had no idea what I was doing and I could see how much he was eating when breastfeeding -Its wonderful not to have to pack him up to head to the docs office if I want to see how much he weighs. I like that I can see all of his weight charted out in the app graph -the color works perfectly in my baby boys room but neutral enough if we ever had a girl! :) Highly recommend to any new parents out there. The first month can be so overwhelming and having this really gave me the confidence that my baby was eating and gaining enough! One less thing to worry about...

> 3 dayThis scale costs 4x other baby scales but is accurate, reliable and comes with an app that is worth $100 in its own. So I look at this as an exceptional scale worth $100 that comes with an app worth $100 bundled together at a $50 discount. What’s not to live here? When you wake up at 2 am for a feeding and don’t which side was last or have long lost track of day of the week and how many , the app is golden, like your own feeding doula. Save yourself the trouble of logging the weight from other $50 scales I tried from Amazon and but the bullet on this beautiful piece of baby tech. Your sanity and sleep is worth many $100s.

> 3 dayDidn’t think we needed this but it ended up being super helpful in weighing our baby intermittently and also figuring out how much milk she drinks per feeding. Most of all it’s as their ally pleasing and each to clean if baby has an accident on it. The hatch app that is integrated with the product is EXCELLENT!! We use the hatch app to keep track of feedings, diapers, weight, and sleep. Even if you don’t buy this changing mat, I recommend using the hatch app!

> 3 dayIf you are obsessed with details and have a newborn this is 100% for you. I purchased for my 2 week old and already had a changing pad but was intrigued about the weight feature on this. It’s super helpful for breastfeeding when you have no clue how much baby is eating. There seems to be a .5 oz variance at each weigh in but for the most part you can get a good idea if she’s eating enough. I have had it for a little over a month now. The app also allows you to report naps and dirty diapers so you can keep track of everything in the same place.

> 3 dayOur son was born at 31 weeks gestation and was the size of a 27 week old baby, due to a chromosomal defect affecting just the placenta. Because of this we were really worried about his weight gain. Hatch Baby has been a lifesaver. We weigh him every day at the same time to track his progress. It is so fun watching him gain each day. We have weekly appointments at the doctors office and the scale there always matches our Hatch Baby scale so I am confident in its accuracy. This is such a great tool for anyway wanting to track their babys weight/health.

> 3 dayTheres a lot to like. But putting in times is SUPER annoying. The AM/PM it defaults to doesnt make sense, it doesnt keep your time when you need to edit it (say you put in 12:15 and it wrongly had PM so you go to change it to AM - it defaults back to the current time as opposed to just letting you edit the time you already saved - super annoying). You cannot tell it to default to numeric entry - it always defaults back to the clock view. The AM/PM indicator has TERRIBLE contrast, so Im usually picking the wrong one. Some of the features are hidden in menus - hard to find the bluetooth link to weigh the baby. Length measures are also in a strange place. Ive had issues with zeroing out the scale a few times as well, which was annoying with a squirming infant in hand. Better than the alternatives - Yes, Id say so. But amazing? Falls short of that

> 3 dayI love this changing table with the scale it erased so much stress while breastfeeding if my little guy was getting enough/ putting weight on in the first couple weeks! Now it’s just nice to see his progress between pediatrician appointments

22-11-2024As a new mom with a baby who struggled with breastfeeding and gaining weight, this product gave us so much peace of mind to know that she was continuing to grow. The changing pad is sleek and easy to clean. The Hatch app is wonderfully easy to use with so many great features to track feedings, sleep, diapers, etc. As a first time mom, I couldn’t recommend this product more!

> 3 dayThis changing table has been amazing for our family. My baby was under weight during the first week so having a way to measure him ourselves has been great for his progress. We also like that it’s a material that’s easy to clean. We put a small cushion pillow on one side to make it more comfortable for our baby.

> 3 dayThe Grow was a nice addition to our nursery. Its a sleek, functional changing pad that has given my husband and I peace of mind that our breastfed baby is growing well between doctors visits. It has been extremely helpful to know the range of how much milk baby takes at each feed as we are starting to introduce a bottle (to avoid over or underfeeding and wasting precious milk) and as I get ready to return to work so that I know what my goal is for pumping at work to meet babys needs. I really love the app from Hatch Baby for tracking weight, feeds, sleep, and diapers. Well done!
