Bought this to run outdoor lights. It came in a plastic bag with no instructions. Went on you tube and found a very helpful video to connect to my Alexa, but it would have been nice to have the app that I needed to download in the package. Working as expected.

Very easy to use. All you have to do is to ask Alexa to find it and set it up on the app. You can name the whole plug or each of the outlets separately. It was amazing for my outdoor Christmas lights. No programing a remote, setting timers or going out to unplug. Just tell Alexa to turn them on or off!!!!!!! Im so happy with this purchase.

This thing is so easy to set up with the app that anyone can do it. Works from pretty far away and has three separate controls for each of the plugs!

I have a water fountain and lights connected to the hub work great.

Easy setup

Needed an easier way to turn our patio lights, fan and fountain on and off. Now we just tell Alexa. Also have a timer set to make it look like we are home.

I got it set up just fine in the HBN app, but Alexa couldn’t control outlet #1. It could control #2, #3 and all at one time, but not #1. I got a replacement from Amazon (very quickly) but that unit had the same problem. I wrote to the tech support email and got no answer. I submitted a request on their website and got a reply within 30 minutes, but following those instructions didn’t fix it. I’m planning to return the second unit and go with another brand. However, if you just want to use the HBN app to control this outlet, or don’t mind that one outlet can’t be controlled with Alexa, then maybe this is right for you.

So far so good. The real test will be the Christmas lights in the freezing cold under snow.

I was looking for an outdoor timer for Halloween and Christmas lights. After trying a few other non smart plugs, I decided to try this one mainly for the convenience of knowing I can change the schedule if needed without having to be home and that it had three individually controlled outlets. The app is easy to use, easy to set schedules by individual outlet, and has come on and gone off without any issues. I highly recommend.

I was not able to get this set up with the instructions included in the box. The page numbers were all off and half of the pages were missing.
