This is a great product and it will do what you want it to do if you are a computer genius and understand the stupid app! It is not for the faint of heart, believe me!!! I love it when I finally figured out the app....but honestly it took me forever to understand how the dumb thing works......they could have made it so much easier for the layman to understand! Outdoor string lights. I want my iPhone to be able to control the lights. Contacting the Mnf, TP (?) and having them take me steps by step thru the installation process, did not help. I actually bought this product thru NewEgg, and they have refunded my investment, to their credit. But I still need an outdoors waterproof Smart plug and dont know where to go. Ive tried 3 different plugs, iPhone cant add the device to their App. Called Apple, they said to call the mnf, I did, to no avail

Wanted to be able to control outside lights from indoors. Works great app easy to install and use. Love that it has 3 places to plug in and that I can set a timer for the lights! Glad I made this purchase!

This is the second smart plug I received. It is hard to get hooked up I still don’t have it working with Alexa.

I plugged in two sets of outdoorChristmas lights (originally it was going to be three, never got the third set up) and programmed the on/off times. It went off and on at the correct time very day. The plug hangs under the overhang of my room so it doesn’t get snow or rain, the coldest temperature so far has been 12 degrees F. It work exactly as I needed it too. It’s a little bulky, as you can see in the photo bd there wasn’t. Way to hide it in the needed location - that may not be true for your application. I gave four stars because the set up directions are confusing and could have been written better, they also could have been written in something other than a micro-sized font.
