Item cane in a timely manner. It came just as described. We installed it in one weekend, the directions were easily understood and our gate is perfect. Looks and works Great!

We replaced a previous wood gate, and replaced it with a metal framed wood gate, so the holes in the cement to lock the rods in place were already there. That was good, but it also made it harder to line the rods up with the holes. All in all, it is a good secure gate that cannot be opened even when the latch above is opened, which is what we wanted. There is no way to open the gate from the front when using these rods.

works as expected

Worried it wouldnt work in the sandy area I tried to use these, I used metal stands meant for holding solar garden lights that were just large enough to use as guide placeholders for the rod in the down position and it works kind of great so far. Item is good and would suggest it if you want a sturdy ground point of pinning your gate closed or to inertia keep it open if not sink it to the ground to provide the same.

I bought this rod based on a review that indicated it was 1/2in, its not its instead with coating a 9/16in rod, which means now I have to get a grinder and remove the old rod mounting thats welded or drill it to make this thing fit. My own stupidity for not confirming the actual dimensions before buying it. It is however a substantial upgrade over whats out there currently, and broken. So Ill probably be raising this rating after I get busy with my drill and grinder to make this thing fit. Update, after some grinding and getting better mounting hardware this solution is now attached to my gate and laughed off a nasty storm. It was well worth the work to get it installed.

Easily installed on adjust a gate. Works as they should. Its been several weeks and no issues. Would buy again.
