Heavy Duty Drop Rod - Adjust-A-Gate Pin Latch Drop Rod for Double Drive Gates - Black (30in. High rod)

I purchased two of these and were easy to install and are perfect in length.

I added the Heavy Duty Drop Rod to my gate system and it was easy to install

The box leads you to believe that you need two drop rods for a double gate but you dont, only one is needed and when you try to return the extras, they want to charge 20% restocking fee and you will have to pay shipping charges. To clarify The box that the gate frame comes in shows two and the box that the drop rods come in shows only one per double gate.

The quality of the product is good. Galvanized steel, poweder coated etc... However the instructions and use with the adjust-a-gate is confusing and you pretty much have to figure it out yourself and make your own contraption.

These drop rods are ok. I like that they are long but seeing how they are designed for adjust a gate they could only be applied one way when the instructions state they can be applied more than one way. They are also not “heavy duty”.
