I started to drop some stars off of this for my frustrations with the Adjust-A-Gate kit. However, that would be unfair to this product. It was easy to install and long enough to reach the ground. I installed it in about 5 minutes using my cordless impact driver to drive in the two screws. The gate kit itself has been a blessing and a curse. It made putting the gate together easier, but has a host of issues especially if you hang a double gate like I did.

Installed on moderately sized gates (3.5x6 ft). First strong wind bent the rod all to heck.

I used this rod to close a gate linked fence after losing the ordinal rod it works well and fitted perfectly. I did not need any of the added assemblies because it slit right into the former rods hold perfectly. The rod is sturdy and hold very well. It worked and adjusted as well as the ordinal lost rod.

Extremely handy for a no sag double gate. Tho installing the 2 gate kits took me way longer than expected. Not a professional carpentet.

I like the color and design but the screws are not deep enough and can easily muscles out after use

It arrived on time... went on in minutes... worked perfectly! Amazon had the best price for this item. I purchased this product after buying the adjust-a-gate in person at a builders warehouse (and realized I needed this for a double gate).
