> 24 hourThis adapter has worked well for me so far. Its plug and play and had no issues providing wifi. I didnt notice any losses and the speeds remained great when using it. There isnt much to say about it, but its definitely great to have if you have a more slim laptop but require a more stable connection. Very nice overall!

> 24 hourOrdered this for a laptop that does not have an ethernet port built in. It was great in that I plugged it into the port, plugged a cord into the adapter and it worked instantly. I highly recommend if you want a wired connection with a laptop without a built in ethernet port.

> 24 hourI needed to add a wired network connection to a Stick PC that only had WiFi. It worked immediately out of the box. I expected this to work well because I had already used and reviewed a HENRETY combination USB hub and RJ45 adapter. That went into my laptop bag and this becomes a permanent addition to the Stick PC. I like the design, too.

Elijah G,
> 24 hourThe HENRETY USB-C to 10/1000 gigabit Lan network adapter has a solid build quality and feels sturdy in my hands. Its compact size. Small enough to put in my pocket. I can take it with me wherever I go. The setup was a breeze. Simply plugged the adapter into my usb-c port and it was immediately recognized by my operating system. Works great. Highly recommend!

> 24 hourThis Ethernet adapter can work on all common operating systems without hassle, including macOS. However, once I get the Ethernet connection established, it works for a short time and then stops.

> 24 hourAdapter worked as expected! Windows detected the adapter with no extra drivers. Device detected as an ASIX AX88179 USB 3 device. Speedtests were at internet maximum and a large file transfer had me at 80-90 MBps, so right at what i would expect for a gigabit connection. Build quality is good as well!

> 24 hourThis is a single purpose computer tool, dont be confused as all it does is allow a USB 3 ported computer to connect to an Ethernet cable. If you need to attach a monitor, USB A drive, SD cards, HDMI/DisplayPort monitors and the like all at the same time, this is not for you. If what you need to do is attached to a wired network this will do exactly that and does it reasonably well. Yes, I say reasonably well, not perfectly, but really, good enough is all you need. That said, the reasonably well come from the fact that for my HP laptop running Win 11 it was necessary to reboot the machine the first time I attached that unit in order to have the network recognize it when I plugged in the class 6 cable from the gigabit router. And of course, YMMV wit a different laptop and router and operating system. The unit itself is well made with a sturdy metal case and a solid Ethernet port - no light weight plastic here. The cable is roughly 6 (15 cm) long with a braided covering which appears to be nylon. The cable has a nice elastic cable strain relief section at both ends so it should hold up well. The USB C connector very firmly connected to the port on the laptop - this is not likely to move and result in an unstable network connection and while the cable is only 6 long, given that all it needs to do is connect to an Ethernet cable, that is nice as it takes up a lot less space in a laptop bag. They also nicely provide a port cap: really nice as it will help prevent dust and other crap from ending up inside the USB connector. Really nicely done; even if getting the package open initially without tearing the paperboard is a challenge with the flexible but stiff and closely fit foam tray the unit is shipped in.
