This ethernet adapter works perfectly. It is easy to use, plug and play. When I tried it on my laptop, the speed was four times faster than it was with WiFi. I also tried it on my tv, which doesnt have an ethernet port. It worked for that too.

I use this to connect my Surface Laptop Go 2 to the internet. I have wired internet, and used to use a USB-C to Ethernet adapter, but theres a problem with these laptops that after a while cant handle the internet via USB-C and keeps dinging and dropping the connection. Doesnt matter how many times I redownload the driver or update. Anyway. This solves the problem! My laptop can consistently connect via USB-A, and this adapter doesnt seem to get too hot, and the speeds are good. It looks nice, too—very minimal design and compact, which I appreciate. Plugging the adapter into one of the USB ports of the Switch dock, it connected to our network and has improved our speeds dramatically compared to our relatively weak and intermittent WiFi signal. the adapter was perfect for my laptop to get internet through Ethernet, but out of absolutely nowhere, it just stops working. No lights, nothing. I checked that my Ethernet cable and my laptop usbc port aren’t the issue, and they most definitely work with other things. Very disappointed since it only lasted 2 months, and that means I can’t return it either. It’s probably a quality control issue, since it seems like other people don’t have this issue.
