Greater than one weekI carry this adapter to increase my internet speed when Im on the road by plugging directly into routers. Works great with MacBook M1.

> 3 dayI have had chance to use this USB-C ethernet adapter on Windows and MAC. No compatibility issues were found, and no driver installation was required. Just plug-in and it works. The adapter is solid, feels well made, and has held up well being used several times per day. The adapter has had no issues being pulled from and tossed into a backpack almost daily and is now my go-to ethernet adapter while on the road.

> 3 dayNice product, plug and play to a Win11 Home Asus laptop that didn’t have an Ethernet port. Wanted a way to hard connect to my router, or as a backup if WiFi wasn’t available. Product is well made and had the added touch of a dust cover on the USB-c connector, and came with a bonus USB-c to USB-a adapter to allow connection to a laptop that didn’t have USB-c. Product performed at max speed of my ISP at 300 Mbps, so works well.

> 3 dayThis ethernet adapter is really nice. The construction of the unit is top notch. I love the metal housing and braided cable. It has a solid click when you insert the ethernet cable and has both link and activity lights. It installs with no drivers needed on Windows 10. I ran a speedtest on my Fios Gigabit and got 960Mbps. This was better than my integrated Ethernet port which only usually gets up to 900Mbps. Definitely recommend this device.

Greater than one weekI was very surprised that this adapter worked with my iPad Pro. I tested it on my macOS and Windows machines and it worked across the board. My only suggestion is that they should make a USB-A adapter end that you can swap on or off. Other than that, this worked as intended.

> 3 dayThis adapter feels solid with its nice metal housing, and its compact enough to throw in any laptop bag. It provides near full gigabit speeds (~950 Mbps), as tested with iperf3 on both a Mac and a Windows 10 PC, and required no additional downloads to get working. About the only thing I could nitpick is that the port is quite a snug fit, but I had no issues with a multitude of different cables.

Greater than one weekDoes this work? Yes, it does, but 5 of 6 of its product images show a USB C connector. It seems the primary photo does indeed show a USB A connector, so shame on me for seeing what I wanted to see in those other 5 photos. I got this because my Mac (yes I have tested this on a PC and a Mac) features only USB C and I prefer ethernet for work. To use this product, I need to connect my USB C to USB A adapter and then I need to connect this USB A to ethernet adapter. I acquired this adapter for a direct USB C to ethernet connection. I did not intend to string a bunch of adapters together, which is what I must do to use this product. This product rates a 5 for USB A to ethernet functionality, but I must rate this a 3 because of its misleading product images.

> 3 dayThis is perfect if a USB port isnt available on a USB-A equipped device like many laptops. Peformance was more than acceptable. Immediately was working after plugging in. No drivers or configuration was required.
