> 3 dayIf youre like me and youve noticed that most modern laptops dont have a built-in ethernet connector, then you know how frustrating it can sometimes be to try to get a fast and stable connection to the network. This adapter is easy it is to use. It is literally just plug and play. Just plug it into your laptop or PCs USB port and then on the other end, connect to a ethernet cable thats connected to the network, and youre good to go! The adapter is compact and lightweight, so it fits nicely into what I call my bag-of-tricks that I carry with me when Im traveling, because you never know what you might end up needing when in a new location. The gigabit speed ethernet connection is great when its available. Whether youre streaming video, downloading/uploading large files, or just browsing the web, there can be noticeable improvement in speed and stability compared to using most Wi-Fi connections. And because youre literally hard-wired in, your connection has a better chance to be solid as compared to a wifi connection. Keep in mind when purchasing this adapter is to make sure you choose the correct type of USB connector. Mine is a USB C, but there is also an adapter available for USB A 3.0 and other types of connectors. So just double-check before you make your purchase to make sure youre getting the right one for your needs.

Greater than one weekI have an old laptop that Ive been using and noticed that my download speeds werent that impressive. It was connect straight to ethernet so it should have been fast but speedtest.net was giving it about 80 to 90 mbit/s. After digging around in settings for a while I discovered that the ethernet port was a 100 mbit port. Thats the problem. Well this little guy fixed it. It was super easy to install. I pulled it out of the packaging and plugged it in. Immediately it started working and my download speeds jumped up to 270 mbit/s. Nice! Ive been using it for a few days and Im really happy with it.

> 3 dayThis ethernet adapter works perfectly. It is easy to use, plug and play. When I tried it on my laptop, the speed was four times faster than it was with WiFi. I also tried it on my tv, which doesnt have an ethernet port. It worked for that too.

04-06-2025It works well. For the posted asking price, it is a good value for a USB 3.0 Gigabit adapter. Just plugged it in to my Windows 10 PCs USB A plug and it operated perfectly fine. A speed test showed it provided full Gigabit throughput, so not much more you can ask in terms of wired solutions. Zero concerns. Seems durable enough in construction.

> 3 dayThis is a super-simple product - just an ethernet adapter that plugs into a USB-C port. I tried it out on my 13 M1 MBP and it worked perfectly once I clicked the dialog to allow the accessory to connect. Speeds were just as good as my internet connection would allow. Quick and easy 5-star product (and its affordable)!
