> 3 dayThis pot seems to be very durable. It distributes heat evenly. I like that this pot has double handles for easy maneuvering and holding. I had no issues with food sticking (I did season it prior to my first use). The lid sits pretty well on the pot. It’s easy to clean. I hand wash all my pots and pans so I don’t know how it handles in the dishwasher. I have no issues so far.

Greater than one weekSo far this 8 quart HexClad pot has been terrific! Ive been trying to put it through the paces by cooking bacon, roasts, etc. When making a pot roast it browned the meat very well. The browning was nice and even. It was also completely non-stick. More so than when browning my meat in my Dutch oven! Also just like my Dutch oven I was able to put the whole pot, lid and all right in my oven for the three hours that it took for my roast to be fork tender! It is also much lighter and easier to handle than cast iron. Being 8 quarts gives me a lot of room for stews, chili, soups and so on. Now I havent tried taking a blender to this to prove that you can abuse it and not cause any damage. The unique non-stick surface is extremely well made and I dont anticipate any problems down the road. This is a great, large pot that should last for years and years!

> 3 dayThis was my introduction to Hexclad cookware and I love it! The pot is nice and heavy and cooks evenly. My chili did not stick to the bottom of the pot and cleaned up easily with soap and water. The handles on the pot did not get hot and the glass lid fit tightly. The cookware was presented very nicely with the pot and the lid each inside of a dust cover. It looked and felt like a premium product. I have no way of knowing how this pot will perform after a few months of use, but I am very pleased with it now. I expect that as long as it is taken care of properly that it will last a long time. I am very happy with it!

> 3 dayDisclaimer: Im a cast-iron nerd. Outside of for fond pans and Dutch ovens, thank you but I want my cookware pure. Enamel however, is only a limited solution for fond or Dutch. Once worn or damaged, it only can get worse. Unlike with pure cast-iron, the coating cant be repaired. So now I get this (+/-) Dutch oven, and the instructions says, Be sure to always season your HexClad cookware with oil. Do that, and the coating will only get better over time. Ah What? Thats cast-iron talk. Youre building up a vegetable oil polymerized coating on top of the HexClad coating? This will be interesting to see over a longer time of usage. Otherwise, it is a very nicely constructed pot. Not as hefty as cast-iron, but still some good weight to it. Oven safe up to 500F, so I am going to give it a workout as a Dutch oven. Now, the advert above does say dishwasher safe, but if youre seasoning a pan or pot, the one way you do not want to clean them, is in a dishwasher.

Greater than one weekI will preface this review by sayin that I have cooked with Le Creuset cookware my entire life. over 50 years. And I love it dearly. So, imagine my surprise when I got this pot and fell in love with it. I did everything they said. I hand washed it, seasoned it, let it heat for a while. Then I made a huge pot of Jambalaya. Shrimp, sausage, the whole nine yards. I put in the rice and let it simmer on low for the allotted 30 minutes, which usually sticks most of the rice to the bottom of the pan while not thoroughly cooking the rest. I take the lid off and lo and behold the rice is cooked...all of it. Now, I will say that the bottom layer scorched to the bottom of the pan. Trial and error are great teachers. Apparently, the number 3 setting on my stove is too high for this. But the jambalaya was good. Cut to cleanup time. I store the leftovers and set the pot in the sink. Literally, I took a damp sponge and wiped out all the scorched bits. Not scrubbed...WIPED. Of course, I washed it with soap and hot water but my point is that, no matter how burnt that bit of rice was, it did not stick to the pot in the least. Ive never had such an easy cleanup. I am going to use this pot from now on when I make chilis, soups, or stews. I will keep the temperature very low. And I will not struggle to clean it. Im going to look for more Hexclad cookware because this one has lived up to the hype. They shouldnt just call it no-stick cookware. They should call it CANT stick cookware.

> 3 dayLove this pot! I cannot wait to make all the things. So far it’s successfully made Maryland Crab soup. Love the size. Ingredients don’t stick, and everything cooks nice and evenly.

> 3 dayIm really loving Hexclads cookware. This is my third piece and its fantastic. Its essentially worry free -- you can use metel utensils for cooking (I still only use plastic and wood) and scouring pads to clean it. There was a little learning curve -- these cook hotter than Calphalon pans do, so you can use a lower temperature, and theyre pretty heavy which is a slight downside when washing them (or when my teen son cooks for himself). Otherwise, awesome pans.
