Dead at 1yr 1mon from date of purchase. Date on HD is DEC-2010, I purchased on 5-17-16. but was sold as new? Manufacturer warranty expired in 2012.

It works, but sometimes it stops. After resetting the SATA port it works again, so a very weird issue. I think I got it refunded, but a lot of hassle replacing it.

The drive was recognized by BIOS at lease, but got the warning at the BIOS screen. Hard disk failure is imminent. Please, backup up your hard drive and have it replaced ! I ordered the replacement with the same drive and hope that I have better luck with the replacement. Anyway, dont choose to chat with a tech during return process. I had the worst experience this time.

Arrived within a couple of weeks, was well packaged, and meets my expectations of a 2 tb hdd. Bang for your buck best deal Ive seen on this product.

Ridiculously annoying noise. I RMAd it and the replacement had exactly the same sound.
