> 3 dayThis was a life saver for me and saved hundreds of dollars by rebuilding the air pump rather than buying brand new one(out of stock). I was able to rebuild my Aquaklear Dual port Hiblow HP-60w in under 30 minutes and now working like a charm. The videos on Hiblow website was very helpful. Thanks to Amazon prime for next day delivery.

Greater than one weekThis is the first time Ive had to put a diaphragm kit in my Hiblow HB80 and I was a bit apprehensive, but its actually a very simple repair and the Hiblow websites support videos were really helpful. If you try this and have an older pump (mines a 2009 model), pay attention to the safety switch! I thought my repair had failed at first but I hadnt yet installed the new safety switch (which is included and is a piece of cake to install). After installing the new safety switch, my rebuilt pump is now humming along perfectly and I saved the $500 my service provider wanted to charge me for a new pump. There are cheaper rebuild kits on Amazon but for me, spending the $80 on bona fide Hiblow replacement parts really helped take a lot of the worry out of this repair.

> 3 dayI am so grateful that these are offered online, especially on amazon. The Alarm on my aerobic septic system went off last week and well I was concerned. I called a company that I am contracted with to identify the cause of the alarm. Within five minutes I was advised that the issue was with my septic air pump and received a quote for $575 to replace it. That did not sit well with me. I did some research and found that my septic air pump can be rebuilt with this simple kit and with the help of some relativity common household tools. There are instructional videos on youtube and step by step guides with photos that will walk you though the whole process located on the internet. Im a very careful person and I take my time; swapping out the old parts and putting in the new ones took about 30 minutes. Make sure you do your research and have all the right tools before you go out there and rebuild the air pump, it will save you some hassle. My research indicated that the diaphragms in these systems wear out faster in southern states where the heat takes a toll on the material that they are made out of. Also, the the septic air pump can typically be rebuilt about two times. I have read that these can last about five to seven years, however I also read that some people have to change out the diaphragm out ever year or two. Just wanted to share those data points with you all. My newly rebuilt septic air pump works great and the best part is that I saved my self from having to spend $500 and get hustled. If you have any doubts, dont worry, you can do it.

> 3 dayI am an electrical engineer and I can do some DIY stuff around the home and I have a good friend that is in the septic installation/maintenance business in my community and he recommended this Hiblow diaphragm replacement Kit to fix the Hiblow 60 air pump in my septic system that set off the alarm when the diaphragms died a few weeks ago. I purchased this kit, got it in three days (should have been two) and replaced the kit right away. Only tip I have for the replacement is to make sure the two sides of the diaphragms side are centered BEFORE installing the diaphragms to make it easier to install both sides. Worked great and the old pump is up and running!

> 3 dayQuality part !!! Don’t waste your money on a plumber or septic company and repair your pump yourself. You can find plenty of videos on YouTube to complete this repair. With a quick google you can also find the manual for your pump like I did. The Septic company wanted to immediately replace my pump that was only 4 years old. They stated that is was standard practice when the diaphragm broke. It was going to cost almost $600 for them to do this. The only reason I can come up with on why it failed was the -25 degrees it was for a week and I’m sure this pump was not designed for that kind of temperature. The repair took less than 20 minutes and that included teaching my 14 yo son about the pump operation and how to complete the repair. I confirmed with the manufacturer website to ensure I purchased the OEM part. Using the info provided this is a truly an OEM part as far as I can tell. Since the repair I have encounter no issues (besides the mower eating sprinkler heads while being driven by my 14yo) and it’s running smoothly. I saved hundreds of dollars by doing the job myself and the part was perfect. I wouldn’t hesitate to order this again. Shipping and packaging were excellent.

> 3 dayIt is what it is, of course. Just a replacement kit for the dry-rotted diaphragms. And Im extremely happy that I didnt have to purchase a whole new pump. Paying someone else way too much money to fix/replace something thats so simple to repair is always very aggravating. And all you need is a standard Phillips screwdriver. This repair kit has continued to work well on my existing pump. And with this type of item, you get what you pay for. Its my septic system so, the less I have to mess with it the better. Ill pay a few more bucks just to make the problem go away for a long time.
