> 3 dayIf your air pump has stopped working on your aerobic septic system and you light and or buzzer sounding. This is a easy and much cheaper fix than calling a repair main. Just a fyi, these type pumps have a dead man where if the diaphragm fails it will shut the pump down to prevent further damage. This comes With the repair for that as well.

Greater than one weekI am an electrical engineer and I can do some DIY stuff around the home and I have a good friend that is in the septic installation/maintenance business in my community and he recommended this Hiblow diaphragm replacement Kit to fix the Hiblow 60 air pump in my septic system that set off the alarm when the diaphragms died a few weeks ago. I purchased this kit, got it in three days (should have been two) and replaced the kit right away. Only tip I have for the replacement is to make sure the two sides of the diaphragms side are centered BEFORE installing the diaphragms to make it easier to install both sides. Worked great and the old pump is up and running!

> 3 dayThe repair kit was exactly as advertised and fit perfect. There were no instructions but videos are on YouTube which show exactly how to perform the rebuild. This took about 15 minutes to install and now my septic aerator is working again at a fraction of the price that a new one would have cost.

> 3 dayQuality part !!! Don’t waste your money on a plumber or septic company and repair your pump yourself. You can find plenty of videos on YouTube to complete this repair. With a quick google you can also find the manual for your pump like I did. The Septic company wanted to immediately replace my pump that was only 4 years old. They stated that is was standard practice when the diaphragm broke. It was going to cost almost $600 for them to do this. The only reason I can come up with on why it failed was the -25 degrees it was for a week and I’m sure this pump was not designed for that kind of temperature. The repair took less than 20 minutes and that included teaching my 14 yo son about the pump operation and how to complete the repair. I confirmed with the manufacturer website to ensure I purchased the OEM part. Using the info provided this is a truly an OEM part as far as I can tell. Since the repair I have encounter no issues (besides the mower eating sprinkler heads while being driven by my 14yo) and it’s running smoothly. I saved hundreds of dollars by doing the job myself and the part was perfect. I wouldn’t hesitate to order this again. Shipping and packaging were excellent.

> 3 dayThese are factory replacement parts. They typically last 2-3 years. Hopefully these do too. It definitely beats buying a whole new pump. You can replace these parts in about the same amount of time that it takes to unwire an old pump and rewire in the new pump.

> 3 dayVery simple installation, simply pay attention to your removal process of the broken diaphragm and reverse it for the installing the new ones. These should last for years (even though the pump runs 24/7) as long as you keep your filter clean. Slightly overpriced as is everything these days.
