> 3 dayWhat can one say about mineral oil? Besides being priced about right, it does what it says. After about 3 months it has kept my cutting boards, one bamboo 15 by 19, the other teak 11-1/2 by 13-1/2, in prime condition and looking good. Ive known many, many people who have never oiled their boards and now I understand why they eventually cracked and or fell apart. Granted they are not expensive; but why destroy a good board if you are only spending about $8 (12 0z.) to preserve them? Howard BBB012 Cutting Board Oil is enriched with Vitamin E and made from USP food-grade mineral oil in the USA. The oil is colorless, odorless, tasteless and washes from your hands easily. Very pleased to know it is not a heavily oily substance. It is light weight and soaked into my boards easily with little to no residue within minutes. I would recommend this product. . NOTE: As of October 2015, I still have the same bottle for my two wood cutting boards and still very happy with the results. It doesnt take much to oil them up.

Greater than one weekUsed this on my hand crafted cutting board made of multiple kinds of wood. Ive used this oil on an actual butchers block as well, and both times Ive gotten great results. There is no scent, but I gave it 5 stars for smell because I dont want my cutting board to smell like anything, that would definitely ruin my dinner!

> 3 dayWe have several cutting boards and kitchen work surfaces that are make of bamboo and several other types of woods, including some special ones like gnocchi and cavarola boards. I treat them regularly with this; it seems to do a very good job, and the bottle goes a long way. BTW - if you are tempted to just use canola or olive oil you have on hand - dont :-). You need to use an oil that will not go rancid over time.

> 3 dayI got this product with the expectation of using it to improve the look of some badly neglected cutting boards. After being imprest with how easy it was to use and the results I got on the cutting boards I went crazy and started using it on other wood stuff in the kitchen such as spoons, a ladle, and a salad bowl. (I wish I had taken a before picture of the cutting boards. I did take a before and after picture of the ladle and the bowl. Ill attach them). You simply spread this oil on, no elbow grease required, let it rest for 20 minutes and wipe off whatever didnt soak into the wood and youre done. Its odorless, the wood feels protected and looks fantastic. I definitely recommend it.

> 3 dayWe have a butchers block in the middle of our kitchen. It is an antique piece that definitely is a eyecatcher for our kitchen. That being said, it needs some love. I ordered this product and it totally revives the butcher block. The butcher block completely drinks up this oil. Another huge plus, we have soapstone countertops and a soapstone backsplash in our kitchen. We were told mineral oil will help restore luster and shine with the stone, especially after if has been cleaned. I cannot express how much this oil has improved our countertops/backsplash. They look better than brand new. I am so glad to have found this oil. It has exceeded my expectations.

> 3 dayJust a little goes a long way. Use this on my bamboo cutting board. Pour a little on, and rub all over the board with my fingers. Let it sit for a few minutes and then wipe down with a cloth. Simple and it has kept my board looking great. This bottle has lasted me a good long while and when I eventually run out Ill be sure to buy again

> 3 dayUsed it on my cutting bamboo board. It seems to be doing a fantastic job. Im still using the cutting board like new after a year or so. Make sure to use this product or other products, before using your cutting boards. I like this product but theres others available. It a matter of personal choice.

> 3 daySo far this oil has worked wonders of my new wood countertop from ikea. Before using this oil on my countertop anytime the counter would get wet it sucked it up like a sponge and left ugly water makes that would take days to go away. So through my research i found this product and have now put it on the counters four times now and i can already notice a huge difference. The oil brought the color and grain out of the wood just like polyurethane does. in the picture the shelf that my monitor is sitting on is the same wood as the counter but with no oil so that you can see the difference. The wood looks healthy and moisturized and now when it gets wet the water doesnt seep into the wood but instead beads up and sits on the top to make it easy to clean off. i plan to continue using this product over the years to maintain my counters and would recommend it to anyone with wood countertops.
