> 3 dayI put on an unfinished wood top of a kitchen island that looks like butcher block as other purchasers suggested. It’s food grade so that’s the primary consideration for me. It does have an odor and is fairly greasy feeling so I’m throwing the cloths away I used to apply it rather than try to clean them

> 3 dayI love this. This was recommended to me by the company where I purchased my cutting board. This helps my board from looking dull and dry. This only lasted me for 3 months since I use it once every week. I wished there was a deal to buy a larger bulk. It’s a bit pricier but the results are nice

03-06-2025I got this to try on a cheap little cutting board I got from Daiso. The thing soaked up a ton of oil and has a slight sheen now. Since I got the board as a disposable little piece for herbs, I’m not going to waste anymore oil on it. I think two coats should be enough to give it some seal and prevent bacteria growth. My only quip is the sticker barcode label is smack dab right on top of the instructions. Granted the product usage is not exactly rocket science, it’s still shows a complete disregard for consumers. I can look up usage instructions online, but what if it’s someone who has issues using technology or don’t have internet access? The product is fine, which was why I didn’t deduct any stars, but it’s still an annoyance.

> 3 dayMy cabinets werent that dirty, so the oil worked well. My only complaint is everything stayed sticky. I wiped everything down with Murphy oil soap when done, but still sticky. Not sure why.
