HP External Portable Slim Design CD/DVD RW Write/Read Drive, USB, Black (F2B56AA)

The DVD Drive works okay, but the loading tray is a bit more awkward than the slot on my previous drive.

Great for movies and CDs. I havent used it for anything else yet.

Needed to load a tax CD onto laptop. This did the job.

Quieter than LG DVD player.

I was so glad to find something reliable at an affordable price.

Got it to work by using Device Manager. Not sure why I had to update driver when there was already a driver there for for the HP drive, but it seemed to work. Havent had to use it yet, but I can see in in File Explorer.

I mostly use it for playing my cds and downloading software.

I was able to open/run some old photos on a CD disc and save them down on to my lap top and external storage drive.

good as expected neither memorex was worth owning
