> 3 dayI was very excited when my queue was populated with this laptop. I bought this exact version in 2018 for my wife for about 600$ on sale. There are only minor differences between the 2020 and 2018 version and they all contribute to a small increase in raw performance but nothing revolutionary.

> 3 dayGreat laptop for any student, not good for medium gaming. If youre playing Undertale or Minecraft this Pc will be fine, but anything else probably wont hit 30fps. The battery life on this laptop isnt too great, Im maxing at around 4 hours when doing regular tasks. The fan also gets quite loud when watching videos or doing light-tasks.

> 3 dayThis HP Pavilion definitely isnt the lightest option out there, but its a really nice combination of price and functionality. We mainly use it as a tablet for our two elementary schoolers for school work and sometimes videos and its worked perfectly for both those functions. Its sturdy enough that its survived being dropped a couple of times, and the overall construction is nice and sturdy. Battery life again isnt the best out there, but its solid for the price point -- ranges from 6 to 9 hours depending on whether its video vs general web browsing, and it does a 50% charge in 45 minutes which is handy when were traveling an plugging in briefly during an airport layover. All around a really nice option for either a kids primary laptop, or a solid adult travel laptop.

> 3 dayGreat laptop it was very easy to setup and is very light and convenient. The only thing that bothered me was the mouse pad because if you barley tap on it, it starts to mess with screen and changes where I was at so just gotta be light with it. This was my first ever laptop purchase and I’m very pleased with it. Thanks

> 3 dayI only gave this computer 3 stars because of the battery life. It was draining while completely shut down, but I updated the BIOS and that problem seems to be taken care of. Still, the battery life is much less than my ASUS ZenBook Flip. Other than that, I like this computer and I think it will do well for doing my schoolwork.

Greater than one weekAfter two weeks of use, I like the feel and action of the keyboard and that it is lighted. Everyday light computing will not tax this machine but I am not sure how it would be for gaming or intensive graphic manipulation. Battery life is less than 3-4 hours of light computing. Im not sure Ill keep this machine, mostly because of the battery life and feeling unsure of whether it truly has DDR 4 ram.
