> 3 dayIts a great laptop so far. Though Ive hardly used it. My main problem is that they gave me the wrong one. I was given the 512 GB when I bought the 1 TB. I compared their CPUs online (they are different) and it comes up that the one I got instead is voted 3% better. Itll do as Im not that upset about it, but I wanted a TB of space specifically so I had enough storage for the projects I will work on. It is a very nice laptop however.

Greater than one weekThese work fine for a good 1 1/2 years. After that the startup starts lagging and it takes a good 7 minutes to get it up and running. Opening a web browser also becomes a chore after a few years. Seriously, if you don’t want to deal with the slowness buy an HP Elitebook. It costs more money but you get what you pay for. I know this because my work computer is an Elitebook and has no hiccups. I’ve had it for 4 years. I turn it on and I’m up and running in 2 minutes. I will never buy another Pavilion again. Never.

> 3 dayI really wish there was a way to find out if you could purchase a warranty with this or if it already comes with one

> 3 dayI had an older similar HP laptop and this one has many improvements over it. Keyboard and touch pad are fine. Case is nice even though its made of plastic. The fan is very quiet but it runs pretty cool anyway. It has a flip tablet mode but I think its not useful since the unit is quite heavy. Touchscreen is good but I dont use it much. A few complaints... Display could be brighter. Theres no way you could use it outside. It would be nice if it have a fingerprint reader but I guess thats okay. Its not very fast so dont plan on running games on it.

> 3 dayI use this for both personal and work related matter and it has been great so far! Light weight, but sturdy. I love that the keyboard lights up when you use it in the dark!

> 3 dayReally like my laptop. Perfect for work. Battery lasts long enough for me. The only thing is… I really wish the keyboard lit up but I guess that’s my bad for not making sure of that before I purchased. Other than that , I’m happy with my purchase. EDIT - it’s literally been one year since I purchased this laptop and it’s already malfunctioning. I barely use this laptop and it’s already messing up. The touchscreen has stopped working and now I cannot complete tasks I need to because of this. It’s been one year!!

21-11-2024Given the number of hour spent in front of a screen, it is wonderful to have such a user friendly, adaptable computer on my team. I have been a Mac user for YEARS and am so happy that I made the decision to change. The touch screen is a gamechanger. As a teacher teaching online, it is wonderful to be able to share my screen and utilize the whiteboard feature and to be able to accurately draw and present lessons quickly and legibly. The only thing that I have to get used to is having the power button on the side, which I hit and power down the devise by mistake. This was a wonderful purchase!

> 3 daySuper easy to use. Ive been really impressed with this laptop so far. I didnt think I would like the tablet mode but the screen is so big and easy to use even with a keyboard. Im going to buy the pain separately but this is a great value.

> 3 dayThe laptop worked only for one day. This laptop wouldnt turn on even with a fully charged battery. After several attempts and hours it turned on but I was afraid to keep it after contacting tech support. Additionally, the tech stated the laptop only had 4 months remaining on the HP/manufacturer warranty.
