Greater than one weekThis product is the best! We bought these bc our Labrador learned how to open every door in the house and run rampant while we were at work, which was not safe for him. These have stopped him, and I am super grateful. They are also strong! He is an 80lb lab and stands up using his paws and weight to press the lever- these things don’t even budge (yes I watched him try from the other side of the door when he thought I had left, yes I put a camera on it all day to make sure it stayed). If you have a smart dog who loves to open doors, I wouldn’t hesitate.

ONE HAND OPERATION:
Requires an adult to push the release button on both sides of the lever. This can easily be done with just one hand. A toddler"s hand isn"t as big as yours and he or she will not open the lock. This is a big improvement over other lock designs sold on the market. Those only require a single button to be pushed. Clever toddlers and small children can push the single button and open the door. Most kids can"t open our 2-button design.
