> 3 dayI had my last Ingersoll Rand impact for 20 years, I am expecting to get that out of this one, if not Ill be back to amend my rating to 4 stars. Extremely powerful and light, this impact wrench is a great addition to any shop. It is a little louder than I had anticipated but not obnoxious and there is a quiet version of it. See you in 20 years.

> 3 dayI have always wanted one of these because I knew how good they were and now I have one and with care it will last me the rest of my life using it around my home shop. Plenty of nut busting power forward and reverse.

> 3 dayI bought the 2235QTi Max to replace my old 1/2 Cornwell impact Ive had and used for the past ten years. Unfortunately there are no Cornwell trucks that run within two hours of me to get a replacement, so I decided to give IR a go. Ive used other IR guns in the past and they were great. I bought the QTi Max expecting decent home performance, but it is woeful at best. I have a 30 gallon compressor that runs close to 120 PSI without a sweat, and this gun struggled to get lugnuts off of my Saab 9³; same thing with my Mitsubishi Montero. I had to remove my axle nut on the Montero to replace my left front wheel bearing and this gun didnt even budge the thing. I took out my battery powered Snap-On impact and it ripped the nut off without a sweat, something that this IR spec-wise shouldve been able to do without an issue. IR WAS a quality brand, but now Im not so sure. The fit and finish was great, as was the ergonomics, but the performance was worse than a Harbor Freight impact. Perhaps I got a dud, but given I have a lot of other IR products (angle grinder, several drills, cut off wheel, and an ancient 1/2 impact from them that I lend out to people) I expected the same quality.

> 3 dayMy nephew was visiting and had to do some work on his 18 wheeler. He has a less powerful impact wrench and was struggling to get the job done. I brought my new one out and zip zip the job was done. Its got more power and is lighter weight than the one it replaced. Does a great job without tiring you out. I highly recommend it.

> 3 dayMy old Chicago pneumatic CP734 finally got to the point where it would no longer remove Honda crankshaft bolts. This gun can do what the old CP only dreamed of.
