I love the duel screens that show actual and desired temp. Also it is so nice to finally have a timer that can maintain two different temps for day and night. Once I deciphered the instruction pages it was fairly simple to use. It took me a good 30 minutes of reading it over multiple times to understand what the menus and codes actually meant. You have to memorize the sequence of program steps because if you have to look at the manual for too long mid process it will time out and you have to start it over. Luckily it’s set it and forget it. I should have written down the instructions for myself in clear English while it was still fresh so I can remember how to use it when I need to change something.

Easy to set up, big red numbers, I can just walk by and see the exact temp on my tank. I have it plugged into my Apex for redundancy. Must have for any aquarium keeper! Thank you inkbird!

If you want a time controlled unit, this is the one. However I was wanting one that controlled both heat mats at the same time with 1 control. This one turns on heat mat 1, and then turns on heat mat 2 in accordence with time settings. It alternates the heating between the two heat mats on a 24 hour clock. So either 1 is running when TR0 is set and the 2nd is only running if TR1 is set up. It works good and alternates between the 2 mats pretty good. However.....Not exactlywhat I was looking for, And it helps alot to carefully read through ALL the instructions. Much better after understand how it works.

Excellent addition to any aquarium. Especially for multiple heater systems. I set both heaters to 5 degrees over desired temp. Controller maintains within 1 degree, normally withing 0.5 degrees of desired temp. Super easy to read LED display. Easy set at F or C readings. I have mine mounted to the wall beside the tank so I can track temps at a glance.

Works great! Been using it for around 4 months now and holding strong. I clean the prob every month or so for the best accuracy since slime, coraline, and algea grow on it.

First take a glass of water and mostly ice and calibrate the thermometer by swirlingthe probe in the water until it stops. Once it stops THAT number is freezing. It was two degrees HIGH on mine so had to adjust the temps to compensate. Once you do that everything is just following the instructions.

Works well and easy to get the hang of, the only issue Im having is I cant seem to get the just right before it kicks on. It lets it drop too much in my opinion. But Im also still learning how to use all of the features!
