> 24 hourFor years Ive been disgruntled at purchased de-humidifiers and their lousy humidity control. The sensors in these products are sloppy at best and often fail over time. The key to this controllers effectiveness is the very accurate sensor itself, the rest is just common sense digital control. The available options and settings for controlling the dehumidifier are top shelf! This also works with humidifiers so am looking forward to doing some testing this winter. I FINALLY know exactly what the humidity level is in my basement and rest assured my power consumption to maintain my desired humidity is minimized. (you can even calibrate this controller if you have a known good dry bulb kit or similar) Yes, the set-up is somewhat confusing, but if you have a basic understanding of humidity and hysteresis settings, its a breeze, and easily adjustable at any time you desire. For the price, this is an amazing control, and I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting better humidity control in any environment. Ive had it running for a month now 24/7 with no problems.

> 24 hourIworked well for about 3 months in an 80% humidity enviroment. It then began giving eratic measurements or sticking on a false temp untill i jiggled probe wire. Which was not ideal when counting on humidity kicking back on when away. It barely worked when i stored it away 5 months. I just gotit back out to use it and it gave me the error screen after 1 day. Kind of dissapointed. I was thinking if i treated it well it would do job for long time with maybe needing to replace sensor once a year. I guess the relay stopss working after repeated on offs. I hope im still under warranty period but im unsure of length .

> 24 hourThe instruction manual is very hard to understand, obviously written by people for whom English is a second language. But, once you get past that, it works beautifully and seems very accurate. The display is very easy to read.

> 24 hourIve been using this to control an evaporative cooler that Im using to humidify a room. There have been no problems for more than a year and it is still accurate, within a few points when compared with readings from a psychrometer. So for, it seems to be much more reliable than several of their thermostats that failed within a few months.

> 24 hourI have had two of these. They worked really well during the time they actually worked. The first one lasted 5 months, the 2nd one lasted 4 months. So they both stopped working with the same issue. So the problem I ran into both times is, it will not disable the power once the humidity level that is programmed is reached. It still reads the correct humidity level as it climbs and climbs. It will even sound the alarm that was programmed to go off at a certain value. But it will no longer cut power like it used to at the set threshold.

> 24 hourWould be 5 stars if it did not present the “Err” issue the first2 weeks of use. Fortunately an amazing buyer here (thank you) found out that it is the prone being a little bit loose. Once I removed the cap and shakes the sensor and tighten it up, I never had this issue again in 2 months and counting.
