> 3 dayIf you are dealing with a situation with high humidity, this unit will without fail alarm and turn off your dehumidifier / fan, making it mostly useless. You cannot set the unit to not alarm, so you will have to listen to it blearing, knowing that you now have to manually have to get power to your dehumidifier / fan. You can set the calibration down by a max of -10%, and then set your dehumidify set point down a corresponding -10%, but amazingly it will STILL alarm at high humidity and shut off your dehumidifier / fan. Amazingly disappointing.

> 3 dayI bought this for some plants I am growing in a small greenhouse tent. I need very high humidity 95% or so. I connected this to two humidifiers (targeting different sections of my greenhouse tent). It works awesomely

> 3 dayHygrometer might be off would have given it 5 stars otherwise but when I compared it to 4 other hygrometers it was off by at least 5% minimum in some cases higher while 3 of my hygrometers were within 3% tolerance of each other constantly sooo idk however you can calibrate it so all good

22-11-2024I bought this device used it for about a year and the humidity sensor went bad. I reached out and they sent me a replacement sensor no questions. Talk about above and beyond! This device has been so useful in my mushroom growing. I used to run everything on timers and this made life so much easier. I’m a customer for life.

> 3 dayI have an air quality sensor board and two weather stations in addition to this humidistat. Even with all of them together in the same place, they disagree with each other by as much as 25%. Im not sure why the error is so high, but Im probably going to go the manual route that we used to use in earth science class to figure out who is telling the truth. In the short term, I put a 12% correction on it to help even out the readings. Beyond that, this does seem to work very well. I will update the review once I figure out the accuracy issue.

> 3 dayIm so glad I bought this. The heating/cooling unit in my older condo doesnt have a built-in humidifier. So in cold/dry Minnesota winters, I need to manually add humidity. I prefer running a simple Vicks brand steam vaporizer. But several times I have accidently left the vaporizer on too long and my windows would fog up and drip condensation. This unit is great for automatically controlling the vaporizers operation. I simply set a desired humidity level and a variance factor. In my case a setting of 40% humidity with a variance of 3%. So when humidity drops below 37%, it turns on the vaporizer and keeps it on until humidity reaches the set goal. Ive had it running for a couple of months now with no problems. This unit has actually two outlets. One for controlling a humidifier and the second for controlling a dehumidifier. So Im actually only using half of its functionality.
