20-11-2024This is good for regulating humidity in reptile and amphibian enclosures. I have had to replace mine, but thats because a 5 foot boa liked climbing on the sensor and pulled the wire. You do need the manual to translate the display while setting it up, but once its set, youre set. I did not rate accuracy because I have not tested it against more precise equipment, nor temperature control because this does not regulate the temperature.

> 3 dayIs it working? I have no idea. The settings are so unintuitive and the manual online is HORRIBLE. I hope so!

> 3 dayEasy to use after the You Tube video on it. Don’t know what I’d do without it. Works perfect

> 3 dayThis device functions well, but I use it to sense humidity in a terrarium and pump in a humidifier when it dips too low. The plants I grow love high humidity, so its not an issue if the humidity reaches 100%. Unfortunately the device has a panic attack when this happens, and will sound an alarm any time it gets that high. (The minimum setting for the alarm maxes out at 100%, with no option to have it off). There is no way to tell this device not to sound the alarm, and its annoying as hell to have this thing occasionally go off after misting the tank.

> 3 dayThis is inexpensive, works well, and is easy to setup. Im humidifying a guitar room with a new humidifier that doesnt have a humidity sensor, so I had been relying on my old humidistat on the shelf to help me manage the humidity level manually. That was aggravating work. But with this new controller, not only is life easier, but it has taught me that my old humidistat was highly inaccurate. Today, I need far less water than before and the humidity range isnt so wildly up and down.

> 3 dayMy wife runs 3 egg hatchers and our Inkbird controller makes environmental control for these a breeze. This unit is very easy to program, very accurate and dependable. The alarm system that notifies us when the humidity is outside our set parameters relieves from having to check the hatchers multiple times a day. We use a baby monitor placed near the controller with the receiver in the house, works great to notify us of any issues. After nearly a year of use, one of our controllers stopped functioning. I contacted Inkbird, they responded quickly and sent us a replacement within a couple of days. THANK YOU INKBIRD!!

> 3 dayThe ink bird humidity controller is very accurate right out of the box. Make sure you have a dehumidifier or humidifier with auto restart at set the values on the humidifier or dehumidifier much lower or higher then your target so the inkbird can completely manage it.. the one drawback is it doesn’t have dual day / night independent settings for absolute RH control which comes in handy to dial in your indoor grow environment but you can find a happy-medium and keep your VPN relatively in check. For the price this is the best out there for the home hobbiest level grower..commercially you would want to run a full environment controller or a humidity controller that lets you set humidity levels for day/night, to achieve this with this controller you would need two controllers on timers and 2 different dehumidifiers....

Greater than one weekI purchased my InkBird IHC-200 February 2022. I have multiple InkBird products and count on them for accuracy and reliability. My IHC-200 had a fatal malfunction, this was past the warranty period. InkBird did not even blink twice before sending me a replacement. Customer service is a priority for me when I decide to purchase from a company. I will continue to do business with InkBird without any reservations. Thanks InkBird.
