> 24 hourDissolves easily but do not use chlorinated water directly from tap. Allow chlorine to dissipate over night before adding salt.

> 24 hourI guess it must be ocean salt then. I didnt lab test it but it certainly is salt of some kind according to my salinity meter. I needed it for healing tanks and the red clawed crab that likes brackish water. It is ground finely so it dissolves easy which is great. So far, none of the pets disagree with it so take it for what its worth. This wasnt the most expensive one but considering I needed much less and it is salt from the ocean...its kinda pricey in general. Some aquarium hobbyists say you can just use kosher salt for a fraction of the price but ocean salt is supposed to be more beneficial for the aquatics.

> 24 hourI used it to clean my piercings. I had a bump on my nose. I mixed the salt with water (paste texture) and applied it to my piercings overnight. After using it for 2 days my nose bump completely disappeared. Anyone who has a nose piercing knows those pesky bumps take months to go away. Definitely would recommend this for anyone who has piercings.

> 24 hourGreat for fish only tanks. May be obvious to some but I learned the hard way that this salt doesn’t have nearly enough calcium or magnesium for a reef tank or to sustain coralline algae. Switch to reef crystals :)

> 24 hourso the great thing about this, is I use to buy the 5 gallon salt buckets. MAN one drop of water in there and no you are chiseling your way through the chunks of hard salt now. This box actually has individual bags, so if one bag got wet, it will only affect that bag, the rest of the salt is safe. it happens sometimes when i use my scooper to put the salt into the RO water to make my salt water and a splash will hit the handle or the 5 gallon bucket and then its all over.. I like it better this way for me.

> 24 hourI have used so many salts over the years I have forgotten some of the ones that Ive used. I used stuff that ran me $120 for a Tall 5 gallon bucket (probably like 7.5 gallons) that was lab certified to be this or that. I started to realize that I kept buying different salt every time it was time to buy salt, one thing I have learned is that consistency does pay off. I dont know if this is the best salt in the world, but Im sticking with it. It is economical, it dissolves easily, my water parameters test good with it. I run a mixed reef with it and corals are doing their thing, fish are swimming, and everyone seems happy.
