> 3 dayI got it for a brackish tank so not a bad deal.

> 3 dayI like using this salt for my tank. Been using it for years, and Ive never had an issue. I dont like the smaller plastic bags vs the tub, but I guess its easier to ship.

> 3 dayJust add to water and BAM you have saltwater

> 3 dayIs it the best salt out there, no. Is it the best salt out there in this price range, heck yes. I have used instant ocean sea salt since 2010 and it has not let me down. Always mix your salt water separate from your tank test it before you do a water change. It’s that easy. This product will deliver the right salt and mineral quantities every time.

> 3 dayYou cant beat the price if youve got a sizable aquarium and do water changes regularly. This is the second case we have purchased for water changes and lately I have been the one maintaining our new 150 tank. Clean 5 gallon buckets, RO/DI that has had a chance to degas over a couple days and 2 level cups puts us right around a specific gravity of 1.021 fairly consistently. However with the new bags I did notice after agitation via a power head two out of five buckets (total of 10 scoops) had a piece or two or black debris. Did not investigate further but know it was not from the power head as it was freshly cleaned before mixing. I suggest sifting as you pour into your salt storage container to prevent any debris contamination from getting in your tank and possibly damaging the impeller on the return pump (if running a sump).

> 3 dayGreat value for the money! We use this for our saltwater pool in our hermit crab tank. We use 1 Tbs at a time since the pool is the minimum size recommended of a 2 cup capacity. This brand is highly recommended from all of the crab groups we are in. It has lasted for months and we are only half way through it. Will definitely be ordering more at the end of Summer.

> 3 dayIts not just for my fish tank. Its NOT marketed as food grade. Instant Ocean Sea Salt MSDS reads nearly identical to Morton Sea Salt MSDS. Instant Ocean taste better and cost less. Cons; no anti-clumping chemicals (also a Pro - no chemicals) so it hardens on wet days - I put dry rice in my shaker.

Greater than one weekI do water changes, 4 gallons a week. For some reason, its never on par with the directions. I have to do 2 1/2 cups to get it to 1.025. But Ive been using Instant Ocean for years and never had salinity shock.

> 3 dayDissolves easily but do not use chlorinated water directly from tap. Allow chlorine to dissipate over night before adding salt.
