This is a great immune booster. I shared it with my sister and she missed a nasty flu in her neighborhood. I wouldnt take it everyday for extended periods, keeps ones own glutathion from being suppressed.

The last time I ordered this product the capsules looked different from the previous ones and the ones I just received. Photo: Pill on left is actual pill, pill on right is smaller, whiter and different internal consistency (more coarse).

No joke! Taking this daily has significantly improved my breathing - decreased use of my daily prescribed Advair and decreased wheezing attacks. I dont remember why I got this or how I even came across it, but it is seriously legit. If you have asthma - take a chance. I only take one a day. Not sure if its supposed to be two capsules daily but the one works. Yes its a somewhat expensive supplement and a professional didnt suggest it but it is SO worth the money.

I learned about the value of NAC and its beneficial effects on the immune system. I trust this brand too. Its always great to have NAC on hand. As pharmacist Ben Fuchs says many times on his radio show, (http://brightsideben.com/), NAC is what they use in the ER when someone comes in with liver toxicicity from acetamin overdose. It also helps with glutathione production. Definitely good to protect the liver before drinking, and certainly the next morning to detox from the effects.

I bought these on the advice of my health coach for detoxifying my body. They are a good investment, but I do wish they were vegetarian capsules. I didntt realize they werent when I bought them and likely would not have purchased them. I will look for others that are vegetarian next time.

My Naturopath Doctor recommended this product after I came back from Africa with a cough that began when we were dancing and singing in church. The dust kicked up from dancing caused an irritation that wouldnt go away. Not a bad cough, just a little one with almost every sentence I spoke. She recommended 6 a day in divided doses to start with, and then gradually cut back until the cough was gone. It worked very well. It is not a cough suppressant, nor does it make the cough go away immediately. Instead, it heals the problem. I dont use it all the time, just whenever I get congested or have a little breathing problem. But I always keep it on hand.

NAC (n-acetyl cysteine) promotes glutathione production. N-Acetyl-Cysteine (NAC) is an effective antioxidant. In this capacity, it acts as a free-radical scavenger and inhibits the production of superoxide. It also helps to replenish intracellular glutathione, a vital cellular antioxidant. NAC has a low molecular weight and is well absorbed via oral administration. Promotes glutathione production Helps prevent free radical damage Readily absorbed when taken orally
