No joke! Taking this daily has significantly improved my breathing - decreased use of my daily prescribed Advair and decreased wheezing attacks. I dont remember why I got this or how I even came across it, but it is seriously legit. If you have asthma - take a chance. I only take one a day. Not sure if its supposed to be two capsules daily but the one works. Yes its a somewhat expensive supplement and a professional didnt suggest it but it is SO worth the money.

Its not nice to talk about, but, I am always dealing with too much mucous, and NAC has helped me with this problem. It was so bad that I would gag just trying to brush my teeth... Now I can at least get through my routine gag free. Sorry for the visual..........

Some brands of NAC have a distinctive, not in a good way. This was does not.

I love NAC and this one especially. It is so important for detoxification and a potent precursor to glutathione. It has been shown to rewire brains and circuitry in addiction & OCD. I recommend a tablet a day or more if you have liver problems or neurological complaints. Cannot live without.

Integrative Therapeutics is a good company, I use their TheraCurmin. I appear to be one of those with a sensitivity to NAC, Ive read other people can take the recommended dosage and feel washed out, as well. The same thing happened to one of my siblings, so it likely is a familial hypersensitivity to it. The same thing happens with L-Theanine, a washed-out feeling, so unfortunately I have to pass on this one. I couldnt give it five stars based on what occurred, even though as noted it seems likely it isnt the product, but didnt think it right to give less than four because the company is a good one and I do like their TheraCurmin. Natch, everyone has their own unique biochemical makeup, just wanted to share my experience with it and let others know that if a similar thing occurs with you, youre not alone, as I found out.

Although the bottle was still sealed, it was full of small black dots. I have no idea what the foreign agent is, but its clearly not form the medicine as none of the pills were broken and theyre filled with a white powder. This is disturbing and almost certainly dangerous. Had to throw it out for safetys sake. Id attach a picture but there doesnt seem to be a way to do that for this review.

A naturopathic doctor recommended this brand to me. Its a great brand. I take NAC for depression and for my chronic illnesses (fibromyalgia, endometirosis, chronic fatigue syndrome, C-PTSD, chronic epstein barr virus). I rely on NAC to function. I take it twice a day: in the morning and then again at night. I love this supplement and I love this brand. I highly recommend!

NAC (n-acetyl cysteine) promotes glutathione production. N-Acetyl-Cysteine (NAC) is an effective antioxidant. In this capacity, it acts as a free-radical scavenger and inhibits the production of superoxide. It also helps to replenish intracellular glutathione, a vital cellular antioxidant. NAC has a low molecular weight and is well absorbed via oral administration. Promotes glutathione production Helps prevent free radical damage Readily absorbed when taken orally
