> 24 hourÇa marche bien, avec assez de coeurs et de lanes pour samuser sur des machines virtuelles, mais moi qui garde mon ordinateur constemment allumé (inactif, mais avec chrome ouvert et une trentaine donglets dont certains sactualisent tout seuls), jai bien augmenté ma conso par rapport à mon 7700K précédent.

> 24 hourI need a new PC mainly to process photos. I was considering AMD Ryzen 7 5800X when I read the benchmark for Intels 12th generation CPUs are better than the 5800X running Adobe software. But it has a bad reputation for hogging power. The attached screen shot shows that power consumption slightly exceed the TDP of 125W during Lightroom batch export. But to my surprise, once the export is finished, power consumption is very low, even less than my AMD 4800H based laptop. Background processing uses the more efficient E-cores.

> 24 hourThis 12th Gen Unlocked CPU is amazing for a Gamer PC Build compared to the Ryzen 5000 Series. The new LGA 1700 boards have an added benefit compared to the aging AM4 boards. This CPU support PCIe 5.0 and DDR4 or DDR5 RAM. I like how efficient Intel designed it because the P cores are optimized for gaming while the efficient E cores deal with the background tasks. Make sure to buy a good AIO cooler because the CPU will run hot when there is lots of load! Please note a new Intel CPU will come with its Intel factory seal outside the box. Moreover, I ran the CPU under 6% when running Minecraft with raytracing.

> 24 hourGreat cpu performs well but runs hotter. I have a good aio and it runs about 5 to 10 Celcius hotter than 9700k.

> 24 hourI bought four of these to upgrade PCs around my house. Blazing fast runs cool. Be wary of the coolers you buy.

> 24 hourInsane cpu normally pushing 5100MHz has even gone up to 5500MHz.
