> 3 dayI got the MSI Z690 Edge Wifi motherboard to go along with this CPU. I am super happy with it. It runs cool with my AIO, and pairs well with my RTX 3080 12GB. What more could someone want?

> 3 dayMany people can argue AMD this or AMD that, or Intel i9, but if youre wanting something to start off at the high-end level, I would highly recommend this CPU. Granted, you should get a good CPU cooler or a decent liquid cooler that will keep the CPU cold. Other than that, this offers great performance despite the cost.

> 3 dayAfter reading reviews of the I9-12900k, this seems like a better choice to me regardless of price. I am seeing very little difference in single threaded benchmarks, and maybe 15-18% faster multi threaded performance on the I9-12900k. But that comes at the price of using a lot more power and hitting over 90 degrees Celsius in some cases on temperatures when stress testing. While I dont normally overclock my system, I bet you could likely hit those performance numbers with an overclock on the 12700K if you really wanted to.

> 3 dayThe integrated graphics are still short of AMDs but with a gpu it should fare well. I was able to play esports title at 1080p but would not recommend. I paired it with a 3060 ti and a Noctua NH-D15 chromax black dual tower cooler and have had not issues with it. Staying cool and stable at 5.1Ghz on all cores and 3.9 on e-cores during overclocking. I did run it at 5.2 for a while but had a few crashes. I am very pleased with the performance.

> 3 dayPushing over 17000 on timespy with this baby without any fancy overclocking. Using the asus tuf mobo because ddr5 is sold out everywhere and the rog mobo wont fit my noctua fan. Check your fans site to make sure you have an lga 1700 functionality and that your mobo doesnt have mechanically problematic design.

> 3 dayI had been planning to hold off for Raptor Lake, but my Z370 mobo died, and I decided to go ahead and get an Alder Lake i7. So far its impressive. It runs much cooler than my i9-9900k (mild OC) ( 59C-63C under a gaming load vs 75C+) but that couldve been due to the my old AIO being in its death throws for the past few months. 3DMark CPU score went up noticeably as well. Overall, Im pretty happy with it. Havent messed around with overclocking yet, but there doesnt seem to be as much headroom left as there used to be, from what Ive read 5.3 Ghz is about what you can expect. The days of getting another 800Mhz - 1 Ghz+ over stock clocks out of a CPU are gone it seems.

> 3 dayÇa marche bien, avec assez de coeurs et de lanes pour samuser sur des machines virtuelles, mais moi qui garde mon ordinateur constemment allumé (inactif, mais avec chrome ouvert et une trentaine donglets dont certains sactualisent tout seuls), jai bien augmenté ma conso par rapport à mon 7700K précédent.
