I have wanted to switch my brand of B12 to be sure it was made in the USA. The Lemon flavor is totally absent in this product. Im not sure of absorbency or how well it works. It really doesnt taste like anything - so it is easy to chew and swallow.

Jarrow is a trusted brand for me. This Vitamin B12 has given me lots more energy. I take it along with L-methylfolate and a low dose of Vitamin B6 (pyridoxal 5-phosphate) for my MTHFR gene mutation. The price is great too! I found that I need to take this B12 in the morning because it energizes me and I cannot fall asleep in the evening if I take it too late in the day. Good stuff!

Tastes good. Very affordable B12 vitamin. B12 is supposed to help the immune system function and provide energy. I bought these based on positive reviews. So far I have no complaints.

My doctor told me to start taking b12 because it was low and I decided to try this one. It’s affordable and tastes good and it works! My b12 in November 2020 was 246 and it went up to 559 in January 2021 while I was taking these pills

I love these! I don’t eat meat, and only eat fish occasionally, but I always have great B12 levels when my blood is drawn. I worked in supplemental sales for a few years and always steered people towards Jarrow products and have a well practiced spiel about methy vs. cyano cobalamin. After going from low b-levels to the higher end of WNL, I believe my own sales pitch.

I almost returned these after realizing they were lozenges instead of pills but I decided to try one just in case and was pleasantly surprised. they were small tablets and the taste (lemon) was hardly there and not overbearing! I expected a very strong medicine lemon taste. Not at all what I expected. Would highly recommend.

I was not able to taste foods for months. And hot (spicy) foods were painful to eat, as well as very cold foods. No doctor knew (or cared) what to do for me. I was researching vitamin deficiencies one evening, and ran into the Jarrow B-12s. Read that a deficiency in B-12 could mess with tasting food. So, I gave the B-12s a try. In only a few weeks, taking 3 a day, my sense of taste returned, and pain when eating hot, spicy and cold foods subsided. I now take Jarrow regularly.

This is the best B12 Ive encountered. Im in the health profession and usually give it to patients via injection. However, I also know that the alternative route for best absorption is sublingual. I tried another brand in the past that did not work so I stopped taking B12 altogether. However, I had fasciculations...almost like a nerve twitch - for lack of a better explanation, that had been going on and started to get progressively worse last year to the point that I started having PVCs. . I actually put myself on the monitor and panicked when I saw it. Im too young for this and I have no cardiac history. It was in my legs years prior but it started coming up and was getting allover- torso, face, back...scary. I mean it was so bad I started to worry about ALS but I dont have it in my family or fit certain risk factors. Plus, I had low energy and other symptoms. B12 deficiency is no joke as it can cause B12 anemia and other nerve issues. Then first thing to go when I started taking this was the PVCs, then the upper body fasciculations. I guess last in , first out. Eventually, the frequency for the lower body ones decreased and has gone away. I stopped taking this initially last October when everything went away and eventually after about 6 weeks, i started noticing the twitch in my legs so I went back on it. I have it on subscribe and save. I dont take it on a daily basis now. Initially I was. Ill say I take it on an almost daily basis. The weird thing is that for me it, makes me sleepy so I only take at night. I And yes, the other B12 related symptoms resolved. Im hoping this review helps someone because B12 isnt a usual suspect for a lot of things and it can be crazy and a bit scary.

These contain xylitol and I dont want this or other artificial sweeteners in any of my supplements. (sigh) Many people, especially those who are dealing with illness simply cannot tolerate all these artificial ingredients (reactions, etc.) I know I speak for so many with illnesses who are desperate for a pure vitamin without artificial sweeteners or artificial ingredients or the natural things like food grade rubber, wood, citric acid from black mold or GMO corn, etc. and the list goes on, included in it. Why not carry a line thats free of xylitol, etc. Many cannot absorb B12 and have to supplement. Its a shame because Methyl B12 is the preferred and natural form but due to the xylitol, citric acid, etc. added I wont be buying anymore. I dont need or want a vitamin that tastes like candy, I just want the healthiest, safest form of vitamin. So another bottle to throw away, but use caution: Xylitol is very dangerous for dogs, its in chewing gum, mints etc. so I wouldnt want to leave it out anywhere a pet could have access to it. A few pieces of xylitol in gum can kill a dog and that also depends on how much is in it etc. We all need to let these companies know they are doing a good job when they make a pure form of a supplement, but why not carry a line for people who are concerned, informed, people looking for purity in supplements, autoimmune disease, undiagnosed illness, digestive issues, allergies, etc about the extra added ingredients and offer us a line without all the artificial ingredients please.
