Love this portable travel potty! We had just started potty training when we had dinner plans out for my husbands birthday. Along with this potty, I bought the Potette Plus liners and a package of Summer Infant Keep Me Clean disposable toilet seat covers (for public restroom toilets). The potty comes with a plastic drawstring bag and inside I have the potty, a liner, a disposable seat cover and sanitizing wipes. Went into the restaurant bathroom and put the toilet seat cover on the public toilet and put this potty seat on top (legs of potty laid out flat). He went like a pro! Folded the seat back up, wiped off with sanitizing wipes and put potty back in the bag and tossed the seat cover! No germs on the potty seat - so easy! Used the potty seat as its own seat one time with the potty liner attached and once theyre done, you just take the liner off, tie it up and toss it in the trash! I bought two potty seats; one for my vehicle and another for my husbands truck. By the way, Ive read some reviews where people say buying the Potette liners were a waste or arent necessary and to just use plastic grocery bags instead. Big risk. More often than not, my plastic grocery bags have rips and holes in them. If thats the chance you want to take! HIGHLY RECOMMEND all of these items!!

We love this Potette Plus so much that we have two of them - one for the diaper bag and one for my husbands car. First of all, be sure that you buy the Potette PLUS, not just the plain Potette. The difference is, the Potette PLUS can also sit over a normal toilet, thereby creating a safe, clean potty seat on a public toilet. The regular Potette doesnt open up all the way to do this. We use this whenever were out shopping, visiting friends or relatives, or hiking. We rarely use the liners. We use it mostly as a travel potty seat to go over toilets, and when we are out hiking. We do not use the liners when were out hiking unless my daughter needs to make a BM. We just let the pee soak into the ground because were in the middle of the woods anyway. I no longer dread hearing the words, Mommy, I need to use the potty! from the back seat of the car. It makes life so much easier!!

I have a petite daughter who I potty trained at 22 months. She was too tiny to balance on the seat of the toilet, but with this, she was fine. Also, she puts on her hands on this to steady herself instead of on the toilet seat, which is especially nice in public restrooms. It folds down enough that someone with a big purse could carry it around - I dont, but when my mother-in-law took my daughter on vacation, she used it that way, and found it very useful. I rarely use it with a plastic bag, only when were, say, on a boat without a bathroom. However, you DONT need the special bags for that - any shopping bag without holes in it will be fine, and nursing pads or maxi pads to absorb do the trick.

A small potty for kids, very easy to throw in a bag and take with you. My kids have been using it for 2 years now. it is small so just make sure your kids know to sit over the hole, we had one accident early on with a kid who sat too far back. I bought the reusuable liner for it and used it alot when the kids used it as a stand alone potty. Now they use it over the regular toilet. I would recommend for smaller kids (mine still use it at 5 and 7 but they are smaller framed). Great for traveling. helps kids not be afraid of the big toilet and they can hold on to the handles rather than put their hands on a dirty toilet seat.

My kid loves it. Easy to use. Very portable. Well worth the price. I took off one star because when you have to pull the legs out to fold them back up, many times I end up pulling the entire leg off the who contraption. I am not a super strong person but the hinge, as is the entire contraption, is basically just a medium-density plastic and since you only have to pull it out about 1/4, it is super easy to pull it a tad too far. Then you have to snap it back in. This is perhaps all irrelevant once you get the hang of it and be a little more careful and steady as you disengage the legs a little, but when you have a 2yo running off, the last thing you have time to do is to concentrate on carefully snapping the legs back out. I would reconsider the design around this small issue. It doesnt cost much to make these things.

When I started potty training my son I was looking for disposable potty seat covers to keep in the diaper bag. Luckily, I stumbled upon this seat before I wasted my money on those. I cannot say enough good things about this seat and I recommend it to all of my friends potty training their kids. It folds up nicely and fits well in all of my diaper bags. Im not saying its tiny. In fact, I actually thought it was going to be smaller. I now appreciate its size, though, because the seat itself doesnt have to fold so there are no seams to pinch his bottom. Some reviewers have said its too small, but my 2 1/2 year old son is 33 pounds and fits just fine. Ive used the seat both ways and its great! We used it as its own seat on the beach and at the pool both with the bags it comes with and with a grocery bag. Both ways work great. I keep Clorox wipes in the bag that comes with it to wipe the seat down when hes done. Its quick and easy! Its also extremely sturdy. I have no doubt that it will last for my second son. We dont leave home without this seat. It makes my son much more comfortable going potty when were out and I dont have to hold him on!

I have had this potette for a few moths now and have used it quite a few times. I keep it in my car since it folds up and comes with the plastic storage bag. The seat is very very hard and quite uncomfortable for my 3 year olds little bottom, She refused to use it the first two months because it hurt her bottom. I think after her growth spurt she acquired a little more cushion on her bottom, making it slightly more comfortable. It is very compact, which is good, but putting it in the sitting potty position and getting the bag around it before your child pees herself can be a challenge. There have been a few times that i was unable to get the leg part of it snapped in place in time and had to hold it steady myself. Folding it back up is challenging as well as I have pulled the leg things off completely. I thought I broke it but it snaps back in place if you apply force. I did take the advice of other reviewers and made my own potty bags. I use regular plastic grocery bags and instead of a diaper or maxi pad I use puppy training pads cut into large rectangles. Not once has there been an incident of pee going anywhere but the pad. This potette is better than most, I would of just made the seat softer and the legs easier to use, I did try this as a potty seat as well in a public restroom and it is easier to not use it. The seat is just too small for public toilets and my child did not feel very secure. Am I glad I bought it? Yes, only because I can keep it in my car and my child can go potty right there on the floor behind drivers seat in a 2 door Monte Carlo, and then I can fold it up and slip it under the seat completely out of sight.

If you dont have one of these yet- buy it now! My wife and I LOVE this amazing thing. We are not big fans of letting our kids pee in public, as some are. This portable wonder has allowed us to make emergency potty stops in NYC parks, sidewalks and even on the subway platform. Usually, we just use it in the park when we dont want to go searching for a public toilet (which is often dirty anyhow). Use plastic grocery store bags (double bag them in case one has a hole in it) for lining, then drop them in the trash. So simple, fast, sanitary and easy. Even doubles as a kid sized (and clean) toilet seat for those public restrooms which are less than sanitary.

I LOVE this potette plus!!! I received it in the mail Thursday, left for a trip Friday. It paid for itself in the first 2-3 hours of the trip!! We had a 7 hour car ride with my almost 2 year old. Hes potty trained and refuses to pee in a diaper. When he said he had to pee, we just put the bag in, set it on the seat and he went pee and poop!!! Sitting right on the seat, NO LEAKS, NO MESS!!! I was so excited, it is only a bonus that it sits on the top of a big toilet also. Even if it didnt do that I would recommend this product to everyone who is potty training!!! BUY IT, dont hesitate, you wont be sorry!!

By far a great purchase! I usually dont rate things high but this product is wonderful. My son refused to go on any toilet at all unless it had a seat. Well I cant just tote around those bigger type seats so I tried to find something I could take with me. I got the seat in a good time and took it rt away to the store.it came with a bag that I just added a small pack of lysol wipes on the outside of for cleaning. My son had no problems with it and went rt away. For him thats great. We went from 20 min bathroom trips telling him the toilet is ok and holding him trying not to move him to 5 min normal in and out trips. I can also use it on trips if we are not where a bathroom is cus it snaps jn place to be sat on the floor. The only problem I could see someone having is if the child is big the seat sits close to the ground when locked in that position. That may be a problem but I definitely wouldnt make that a reason not to get it. If h want something to travel with or just for the store like me this is great. By far the best seat!
