> 3 dayI was having difficulty with setting up the smart switch on the internet. The support rep, Hanson did a great job helping me figure out where I had made a mistake. The switch works like a charm. The software is easy to use. I love it!

> 3 dayI bought some string lights from Costco but they’re pretty bright on my patio. I took a chance and bought this. It works perfectly to dim the strings. I already have several other Kasa products so this was a great addition.

> 3 dayDoes its job as a weatherproof smart plug. The picture, as of March 2023, is incorrect - it shows a straight plug (the male end), but TP-Link support informed me that the new hardware version (v1.26) of the KP401 has a bent plug (90 degrees from the direction of the cord), and the old hardware version with the straight plug isnt being made anymore. 4 stars instead of 5 because it wasnt as pictured, and getting an answer from TP-Link support was unnecessarily difficult.

> 3 dayThis is a much better choice than my old timer switches. I have had two of those. Both stopped working in about two years. The kasa can automatically adjust the dusk to dawn time according to your time zone or you can set a fixed schedule. The app is easy to use as well.

> 3 dayThis is a great little smart plug especially if youre in the Kasa family. The set up is simple just like all Kases smart devices. It is probably 75 feet away from my wireless router with 4 walls in between and has good signal. I use it to control my swimming pool pump and I can set up schedules on my phone and also use Amazon. Alexa to turn an off and on.

> 3 dayI have about 400 watts of outdoor lights. The plug has built in overheating protection, which is great; however at 100% brightness, our outdoor lights are too much for this plug. We had no issues plugged directly into the outlet. We have to die about 50% for this smart plug. The lights are dimmable incidents. Combined about 400watts full power. If they were LED, this might not be an issue.

> 3 dayI was able to use my Kasa app to automate turning my two lamps on at dusk at %18 then off at 11. Since I wanted to use the Edison Bulbs for they decorative purpose, i choose these, and they fit the bill.
