Greater than one weekI bought some string lights from Costco but they’re pretty bright on my patio. I took a chance and bought this. It works perfectly to dim the strings. I already have several other Kasa products so this was a great addition.

> 3 dayIve installed two KP401 (switches, for pump timers) and two KP405 dimmers. The two switches have been outside, turning water-feature pump motors on and off. One of them works reasonably well. The other seems to need reprogramming every few weeks. Im going to try replacing the flaky switch with another KP401, but if that fails Im going over to the YoLink. I would have picked the YoLink because it has much better range, but it is 2x as expensive.

> 3 dayGreat range outdoors, great scheduling features in the app. 2 outlets would have been nice...

> 3 dayI was having difficulty with setting up the smart switch on the internet. The support rep, Hanson did a great job helping me figure out where I had made a mistake. The switch works like a charm. The software is easy to use. I love it!

Greater than one weekI love that it can dim our bistro lights and it works with Alexa perfectly. Easy to set up and use. I would definitely recommend.

> 3 dayReceived this plug a few weeks ago, and have been using it for outdoor holiday lights. Packaging and everything was nice, and Kasa makes set up a breeze. Only slight quirk is that its got a pretty stiff cable, so not the easiest to get it set to an angle you want, or to do any cable management with. overall: Good quality, good experience, would order again if I had more use cases for it.

> 3 dayThis works really well. The amperage of my motor is about 13 amps and I have had no problems with the 15 amp smart plug. I wish I would have bought a double smart plug since both can be programmed differently.

> 3 daySo, neither directions in both the Kasa app and the Alexa app or online with TP-Link work. Basically, I had to fumble around in both apps until they merged. Try what I did, open both apps and add TP-Link Kasa to Alexa, open the Kasa app and try to add 3rd party control. Pray, and continue futzing with it. No I idea how, nor could I replicate it if I had to. Total crap directions, very frustrating. It does work now though by some miracle of luck.
