Greater than one weekMy wife and I have suffered in a living room with terrible lighting for years. Because we rent, we cant install most ceiling lights, and have got by with crummy side lamps. We finally had the bright (ha) idea to buy a dimmable plug-in pendant light, this dimmer outlet, and to run the cables inside an adhesive raceway across the ceiling. Game changer. Not only has our little vampire den been cleansed with healing light, the dimmer functionality and Alexa integration has made it both convenient and versatile. Kasa has nailed it with their very intuitive app for configuring their smart devices, and my only regret is that we did not find this sooner.

> 3 dayI just bought a house with a pool this winter. When I was opening the pool up for the first time, the pool guy recommended I get an electrician to come out and set up some thing to coordinate a schedule, or I will have to either remember to come out twice a day to turn my pool pump on/off or have it running 24/7. Hiring an electrician to set up some new system = $$$ Buying this thingamajig = like $15 SUPER EASY to set up. I set up a schedule on my phone and forgot about it. It does everything it needs to do. The outlet its plugged into is outdoors, and its been going strong with no issues for months. With this heatwave, I want to be perfectly sure my pool is clean and ready for swimming, so I can set up temporary schedules or manually turn it on or off from my phone within seconds, from anywhere. And since I typically dont have my phone with me by the pool, the button allows you to manually control it as well. I dont use Alexa often because the voice-command system kind of creeps me out still (I only ever use it if Im cooking, my hands are dirty, and I need to know like a measurement conversion or something), BUT I tried it out once just to see if it would work and it did. All I can say about that. Im thinking of buying more for outdoor lights.

Greater than one weekI bought this item three years ago. It works just fine. However, I have misplaced the covers that came with it. The company has no way to replace them. So, if you buy this item - do not misplace those covers, or else make sure both sockets are being used in bad weather.

> 3 dayWorks well. App is super easy. Love not having to go outside to turn on our patio lights, can do it from the comfort of our home when our dog wants to go outside at night.

> 3 dayI like that I can have Alexa turn on my outdoor lights at night...Before I get home and have to stumble around in the dark. It was so easy to set up...I had to buy another one!

> 3 dayMy Christmas tree has over 800 incandescent bulbs and when I set up the tree in November over 80 bulbs has burnt out. Tree looks great and the wiring is tie wrapped to each branch so replacing all the lights would be very difficult. I wanted to dim the lights on the tree this year to prevent them from burning out. So, I used this plug-in lamp module and set the brightness level to 80%. The module ramps the brightness up and down on a schedule or voice commands to Alexa. Getting ready to pack up the tree and not one bulb has burned out! The ramp up and down and limit to 80% brightness worked. Next year I will not be spending a whole day fixing the little %^$&# bulbs.
